I'm very depressed. I feel almost frozen with it. Fear is mixed in with it. I am missing my sister. I seem to have a hard time doing anything, and I feel bad about it. BF

BF Have you been in touch with your pdocs and other med support lately? And what is being done right now to help you get through this difficult time? I'm so sorry you are missing your sister. It must be so difficult, especially with the holidays. I think depression is a natural reaction. Don't feel badly about not being able to get things done right now. We all go through it when we are depressed. It causes a lot of barriers, including the feeling of being frozen to different degrees that you're talking about. How is your anxiety, OCD, BF? You and all your loved ones will be in my thoughts and prayers

Because of these bouts with depression, my NP is going to give me Mirtazapine 30 Mgs once a day before bed time. I hope that it helps. She said it would take a while to work. She wants to see me again in two weeks. BF

I'm so glad that your NP is giving you something to help you out BF.

I take Mirtazapine, BF. It was not too bad to change onto, I was in a very bad place at the time. It does take a little while to start working fully and it can make you sleepy and very hungry - it is easy to gain a fair amount of weight if you are not careful. I put on almost 60lbs!
