This was a sad day for the family. Derrick's dog Wendy had to be euthanized this afternoon. We thought she was already dead, from old age. Turned out she was still breathing and would for quite a while. We didn't want her to suffer or prolong the time. So we now have another dog go over the rainbow bridge.

Walk, run and have fun Wendy. No more pain for you.

Had to post we got our first real significant amount of snow this morning.
It is the 20th of January wow.

Well at least its not as cold as earlier this week. And supposed to be
in 30's all weekend. In Indiana just one or two days is usually in the
30's in January. And rare to hit 40's. So we are having a nice winter.

I am so sorry for wendy. it sounds as if she had a fantastic life! Tell Derrick i believe we meet our pets in heaven. She will probably be patiently waiting for him. Sorry about your sister's eye. Eyes are so precious.

Derrick also believes we meet our pets in heaven. For years he has looked
forward to meeting his first dog yapper, nippers brother. Now he has two
waiting. We also believe all the dogs we have lost were there waiting
on her when she came. Especially Nina one of my dogs that I gave to a friend, and Piglet my dog I lost last year.

Well its been a weird week. Just can't seem to shake this headache completely.

Next Wednesday I take Will to the new neurologist. Was supposed to get
some information to fill out. But never came. So guessing I'll get to do that
there.
He is going to Riley Children's Hospital in Indy.
