Second shift is so hard because you miss pretty much all your regular family time. I hated it, even when I had to do it in spurts to cover for other people.

It will be hard, but hopefully this will be a building block to something more suitable in the near future. Sometimes if you work hard and put a bug in your supervisor's ear that your interested in an opening for something else you can get what you're looking for.

I'm so glad Will's appointment went well. He has a wonderful advocate

He still has to get the interview. So we will see. I'd personally
rather he stayed on days Shift. But that can't happen at Subaru.
So we will see, I don't think they have a 3rd shift.

I wanted to thank everyone for listening. I don't have anyone close to
talk to about issues.

Derrick is probably going to switch roommates this summer if we can find
someone that will work for him. The roommate he has, had a meeting yesterday
about the visitors and eating Derrick's food. And I'm guessing other things.
Derrick stayed with his provider, because I didn't want his anxiety to go over
the roof. And with that many extra folks in the apartment. He wouldn't have
had any way to spend time in living room. Or even to go to kitchen very well.
He is gong to the primary Nurse Practioneer this coming week to talk about Anxiety medication.

I will be making an appointment soon with her. I need to go for my medicines and things. I've been neglecting the visit.

Also I've picked up 7 cases in the last week. And given referrals for two others to co-workers that handle the area. I would have kept one, but
I was taking my grandson to Riley that day.
I need to make sure that parent got ahold of my co-worker. And I think
if she didn't I'll set up a meeting to talk to her.

I have one case that is probably headed to due process. I at least will only
be moral support.

It's a shame that Derrick has to wait until the summer for a new roommate. I hope that things aren't really too bad for him right now. Not that it's easy to live with any kind of issues like that.

You're dealing with a big case load right now, and I know you're also juggling a lot of family issues as well…

Again, I hope you are taking good care of yourself Donna. Please do something nice for yourself. You deserve it.

Derrick is a lot calmer right now. We will see how long it works. Seems
that a new set of rules was put in place for his roommate. Not sure how
things will work. By summer if things are going well he may not even want
to switch. Its always hard with his anxiety.

I hope that things work out. Because of his anxiety, a change could end up being much more disruptive, especially if he ends up with a roommate who presents more issues. You never know who you're really getting…

I have lived with friends who have become horror shows as roommates. One friend had never been on her own. She went wild when she moved in with me and became a totally different person. She got into a lot of drugs, started bringing a lot of strange men home, and repeatedly stole from me. Living with her was awful, and I was worried about her constantly. I actually called her father to come get her.

For a couple of years I lived in a three bedroom house with two guys for roommates.

They were easy as roommates except that one or both of them would eat my food clearly designated as mine in the fridge.

Your so correct Kay. And I've thought of that. But right now he is
really wanting to think about changing roommates. I'm not sure
that the one we have in mind will work. But we will see.

He originally didn't want two roommates, this situation would be
exactly that. Two roommates. I worry about that with him.
So we shall see, if things calm down and he will stay. I'm not doing
any switching of companies or any thing till April or May. Because of his
needing a ride at 9 pm. And his lease not being up till August 1st I think.
