It's good he will have time to see if things will work out and reconsider his position. I think you're right to worry about two roommates, might be too much with his anxiety problems. You're a good mum :)

Ugh, does anyone know if a full moon has happened in the last two weeks.
Or is coming. Or anything else that would cause suicidal issues in the
next few days. For the last couple weeks, one area of mine has had
3 or 4 suicidal attempts its really unusual for this many to happen.

I recently read an article about teen suicides going viral. They exaggerated the "viral" part, but the point was once one teen in an area made an attempt, and it became known, one or more susceptible individuals would follow suit.

I'm sorry there is so much sadness in your area right now Donna. That community is going to need to do some healing to get through this :hug::hug::hug:

The thing is I don't believe the community is aware of this. And I don't plan to spread the word.

One of the students was already on suspension, when she attempted. But is now in a group home. She has lots of issues. And has tried before. So that one made sense in a way.

But the rest are coming out of the blue kind of.

On another note. I made a appointment with my Nurse practitioner for next week. Its overdue kind of but its made. Then later in the month I have mammogram and first of April a appt. with the Oncologist for the breast cancer appointment. Just of course a re-check.

Also Will has been targeted for what we call the Family Support Waiver, same one that Derrick has. I just dropped his paperwork at the Pediatricians this morning. And they will fax it after the second sheet is signed. And then send originals back to me.

Really also excited that the company we work with for Derrick finally stepped up yesterday. The guy who has been doing the pick ups when bus isn't available's car broke down this week. The bus was arranged for the work days. But they couldn't pick him up after Best Buddies last night. So it was arranged for someone to pick him up. Turns out the new director's husband picked him up.

He was in really good mood.
