our cats do the same thing they sleep together at times seperate at other times. chase each other mostly hattie the bigger one is the agressive cat/alpha cat. poor hazel is docile but occasionally she will fight back. only lasts seconds. It is cat nature.

it is on again. she says she doesn't want to listen to me. she wrote it in an email. i have been very depressed but am coming out of it this morning. I won't get on the scale. I probably will go to the senior center since i will be alone on sun and monday. robert is going to try to fix my printer and computer on saturday. I wrote stella that she can't deal with mentally ill and i said that she probably has a touch of it since she had an incestuous relationship with her uncle from when she was very young into her twenties and doesn't see anything wrong with it.

i am going to force myself to go to the senior center. i was afraid i might start crying but don't think i will. there is also a relief that the birthday is gone and i got my taxes back. a lot of emotion.

Stella has that unhealthy Byron Katie obsession going on. People who hold on to cult-like movements like that tend to have something "off" and/or something missing in their lives…

An incestuous relationship with her uncle…? How bizarre. Maybe she secretly has conflicted thoughts about the situation, but is unwilling to admit it? Or maybe she's unaware or how much it effected her.

IDK. From what you have written in the past, she seems a little strange. You have known her for a long time, and are very close. I'm sure you have some idea of what is off.

How have you decided to deal with her decision not to listen to you? Are you going to continue to email her, or just ignore her?

i don't really know what to make of Stella. She is also short. some people who are short have complexes. Her vocabulary could be much better since she came here from Greece when she was about seven. She is very stubborn.
As I have written she is into sai baba and john of God and Amma and another one besides BK. She is putting too much stress on me. I have known her for forty years i think and she is about sixty. I wrote her that she has changed and now she knows it all and can't deal with mentally ill people. I forgot if i wrote here that i wrote her and said she also may have some mental illness concerning her uncle since all through the ages it has not been the thing to do.
I don't want to return her email.I don't need the stress. I am coming down from all this stress which strangely has added to my depression.
then i freaked out this morning. i put the scale down wrong and it said i weighed five more pounds than i did. I still gained a pound but it was better than five.
I am not looking forward to staying in the apartment til tuesday. it is not healthy. I hope i can force myself to take some walks. will i i don't know.
the senior center is closed on monday. oh one the girls who works there had a baby girl on my birthday! she is so petite and the baby weighed over seven pounds amazing.. I am still worried about Pudge's eating. I caught her eating the other day.She is really big on brushing. that is a good sign.

Best friend or not, you don't need Stella's ******** right now. Don't bother returning the email, it will only perpetuate a cycle that will further frustrate, anger, hurt you and increase you anxiety. You're starting to feel better. You don't need her dragging you back down

I've done the same thing with the scale a couple of times and freaked out, too. Now I zero it out 3 times before I get on it. I'm glad it was 1 pound and not 5, too. It's common to fluctuate 1 lb or so day to day. It could be stool.

You can take your walks with the goal of getting coffee to go in mind. It's always good to have an objective. I find that it's hard to take walks just for the sake of it.
