Kay,

You remind me of the requirement for the paper script.

I hate the government. I thought that the rule was nationwide -- so annoying.

I do not feel well. Need to sleep for a few days.

Mari

I think waiting till 2 weeks to add another med is a good idea. Especially
if you are still trying the Risperdal.

Did you talk to your pdoc about your recent symptoms?
Did she notice your agitation at the appointment?
I wonder if she would prescribe the halcion like she did the liquid resperdal via
my sending her an email.
Or would she start to consider me a PITA?

I believe that I would still have to drive 15 mins to her office to pick it up.

Lightbulb last meeting w/sleep doc due to insurance.

Sleep doc said the that chip in my cpap machine says for the past 180 days
I have been sleeping about 5 hours and 20 mins a night and that I skipped three entire nights on the machine.
It feels like less I sleep less.

Somehow it is good to know that a chip can confirm that I do in fact sleep. Reassuring.

Also the chip is missing the 20 mins or 60 mins here and there
that I doze off sleeping without the machine (while sitting at the computer or t.v. for ex)

He gave me a recomomendation for a sleep doc closer to me who might
take my insurance and told me what key words to search for in the data base for other docs working with sleep disorders.

He is the sweetest guy I know. I will miss him. He has helped me a lot
these past seven years.

I'm so glad you got your letter for jury duty sent off to the court. That was your main objective, and you now have one less worry.

I don't think that your pdoc would consider you a PITA if you contacted her because you changed your mind about the halcion, and I don't think she would have an issue prescribing it since you've already discussed it in a session. You can tell her the truth: you researched the drug, and once you had more information, you felt more comfortable with the idea of trying it. No big deal.

I don't know if the paper script requirement for controlled substances is nationwide, but I know I need one for any benzo here.

I understand your rationale for not wanting to change any of your meds at the present (with the exception of trying the halcion). Two weeks is a reasonable time period to wait, unless you are having troubling symptoms. If you don't start feeling better, I think you should go back sooner.

I've gotten lost before like you described when you were looking for your car. It's happened for various reasons, but I can easily get disoriented just because of fatigue. The longer it lasts, it seems the worse it gets for me because my anxiety kicks in. I'm so sorry you had that experience for so long in that heat

That's a long drive to see your sleep doctor, but it sounds like it was worth it. I'm sorry that he is referring you somewhere closer to home. It's hard to lose good doctors. It must be especially hard because it's your sleep doctor.

On that subject, I hope that you got some sleep in last night

Arrow Teaching the pdoc. Being patient with the pharmacy.

1. Pdoc the other day told me to talk to the pharmacy to get a better syringe. The pharmacy said I have to talk to the pdoc to get a prescription for a syringe in my county.

-=-=-=-=-=

2. Pdoc told me that she did not renew my Gabapentin last time!!!!!!

I said, "What?! I believe that Gabapentin -- even at the low dose of 200
is helping me with anxiety and depression."
Apparently she listened to me and the pharmacy has it ready for me to pick up today.

Wow, I've never heard of a doctor having to order a better syringe.
I'm also glad the gabapentin was ordered.
I hope she will.

Lightbulb

I am going to go more nuts than I already am if I cannot get some sleep.

I took a little less than .5 Klononpin --- not sleepy.
Going to take a sliver of the .25 Seroquel as well.

Maybe see the pdoc or call her office for an immediate appointment to
straighten this out --- I could have stayed with the same s****y old pdoc
I had for the past four years or so -- at least I was sleeping sometimes.

August 8 -- for work -- I have to be functioning at a much better level than this.

Two counties in my state require that.
. . .making people jump through hoops.
==-=-=

I asked the pdoc about the syringe when I saw her.
She said for me to talk to the pharmacy.
