My pdoc had my blood drawn when I started taking 300mg of lithium at night as an adjunct, and I know my level was 0.3.
I just looked up the therapeutic range, and read it's 0.7-1.2 ng/dl.
I'm willing to bet that your pdoc isn't ordering a lithium level be drawn now because there's a very low possibility of toxicity at the dose you're taking.

I'm sorry you're feeling so shitty

Kay,

Thanks for the lithium info.

=-=-=
The visit with parents went well except that I was getting up
earlier than I would on my own and was very sleepy. Today
they left and I took a long afternoon nap.

I interrupted Dad when he had a topic that I could not handle/made me depressed.

I even stopped him when I asked him a question about when we kids were
growing up and saw where the answer was going.
I was polite and said I was too depressed to deal with hearing that.

I'm glad that the visit went well

You seem to have a pretty firm grasp of what you need/don't need from the people close to you. I'm glad that you're able to be open and honest with them, and that they will respect your boundaries

Default Kay,

My parents insist on only hearing good news.

They do not like to hear anything else.

They are so weird.

Default First I was grumpy. Later I felt o.k.

I so very much was not in the mood, but an old friend and I have a long
time standing agreement to get together for tacos on every New Year's Eve.

Earlier, Hubby and she cooked/prepared the food while I did laundry and watched t.v.

After they finished eating, I had her organize my meds for me.
She was a great help. We spent 1.5 hours.
I called in one med to the pharmacy and made a note to email pdoc about another.

Everything is labeled in neat ziplock bags.

I imagine you don't get much support from your parents for certain things when you need it because they don't want to hear anything negative

I'm glad that you did hang out with your friend, and that your mood improved. It was good of her to help you get your meds sorted out… that can be so time consuming, frustrating, and such a pain in the ***.

Red face

I used 2 twice a day pill boxes from walgreens.
Found them very useful while away from my routine.
It took me along time to concentrate enough to fill them correctly.
I am glad that your friend helped you.
How are you doing now?

Wed stunk because I went to bed late, slept poorly, and was awakened
by noisy machines from workmen in the neighborhood.
that went on for hours.
The lack of sleep pulled down my mood and Wed was hard.

Wed afternoon hubby and I went to the gym together and that helped me feel better.

Tuesday I noticed that I was less depressed. Maybe the lithium is helping.
I am hoping that the decent mood from Tuesday returns and that I can deal with the anxiety sometimes
brought on by the Lithium.

Kay,

My parents do not want to hear much of anything.

They do not even listen to good news.
They only listen for the first
few words and then stop listening.

They are weird people. But they are happy with each other and I
can be happy for them.

I'm glad that you are able to put a positive spin on your parents quirks.

I hope that your improved mood on Tuesday was due to the lithium. You can't go by Wednesday since you can't be expected to be in good spirits after lack of sleep and the noise disturbances you experienced.
