I was focused enough to do 3 hours of paper work!!!!!
I am all caught up filing! With the previous help of a friend of mine. It has always been an eyesore this past year just sitting there waiting to be filed, the pile just grew with time.
I can't believe it is done!!!
I feel quite proud of myself.

Yay!!! Great job, Bizi! Getting projects like that done always makes me feel better. I'm glad you had some help.

I already feel productive today. Chopped up the chicken that I bought yesterday on sale, 9 bags of 8-10oz a piece. Cleaned all surface areas of chicken residue including sharpie to write the oz. Put together a beef roast in the crock pot.
bags from the freezer are so much easier to deal with. onions, peppers celery covered with a can of cream of mushroom soup, then a bag of spinach and mushrooms covered with a can of lentil soup. ta da, one pot dinner!

I had the feet from hell today.
I really thought I was not going to be able to take care of his nails one curled all the way back and under and to the front again.
But I did it and feel proud of myself for it. He was happy so it was all good.

The beef roast smelled so good when I came home...ahhh!!!!
Jeff won't be home for 20 minutes or so. I am tired from my day, back is a little sore.

I had a quick spaghetti lunch , meat balls over tabouli, beets and bok choy, it was all good!
It has been go go all day and I am tired, would love to take a nap but that would interfere with sleep tonight.

I could just lay down for 20 minutes till jeff got home....

All the prep you did with the chicken will pay off in spades. It will be there for you on the nights when you feel less inclined to cook at home and you can avoid the desire to go out now and then.

My mother had terrible toenails like that, and I would wear sunglasses when I would cut them to protect my eyes. I was not skilled like you. I got the job done using several different tools, but it took FOREVER.

I hope that you were able to get a good night's sleep despite resting your eyes.

so much for increased energy...i slept till 8;30 then computer then bed again at 1100pm. slept thru the night until 8am. got up and am on my second cup of coffee. I have about an hour to get ready.
light day today, had a cancellation yesterday. There is a guest appreciation day at the aveda school that I go to.
20% discount for appointments booked in the next 2 months and $20 off of products. There is an oil that I need, I have bottles of the product called 10 to use instead of the aveda products that I normally use.
So that is good and mini facials, so that is always fun. I will go after my last client. Jeff won't get home until 6;15 or so. and I have salmon already thawed, that and a vegggie will be supper.
Super easy and delicious.
I am looking to get back into therapy again...sigh

Aveda has amazing products, and they're usually very expensive. I'm glad that you're going to take the opportunity to get the discounts on the products and when you want to pamper yourself in the future

You really are doing a good job shifting to cooking at home. Is it possible to compare this weeks spending to last week's or the one before when you were mostly going out? I bet you are saving a ton of money…

I know going back to therapy isn't an attractive idea, but you've mentioned it several times. If you think it's something you could benefit from right now, trying a session or two to start off may be worthwhile

Today, I am recovering from over eating last night at whole foods playing trivia. While it was fun and we even won 2nd place I was miserable when i came home. We had eaten a big dinner before leaving. And I ended up ordering chicken wings even though I was still full from dinner.

Today I have a new client this morning. She goes to dialysis three days a week so saturday was appropriate for her.
Jeff is playing a gig this morning, we will both be done around 11;30 and go to chris's for our usual chicken/sausage gumbo. I get it with out rice or bread to save on calories and have a side of slaw.
It is my hair appointment day at one. Can't decide if I will get my hair high lighted too. It takes more time. They may not be able to do that too.
We will have talapia for dinner tonight then it is Jeffs big band "the skyliners"
dance tonight. We will have a full table as some of my friends are going to be there. I am bringing a client of mine,(a young 87 year old) picking her up at 6;30.
I have not figured out what I am going to wear just yet, not sure if anything will fit. I think I will wear a dress. It is so depressing trying on clothes when I have gained 6 inches in my belly.

It will be nice to have your hair done for the Skyliners gig tonight. I hope you can find something you are comfortable in to wear (I don't fit into anything nice I own either). It should be a great night out with so many friends going. I hope your older friend has a good time.
