... to much of California, really. The fires are widespread... it's terrible.

I try to remember to say some good words for all the people suffering our country every day because between the fires and the hurricanes, right now there are so many :hug::hug::hug:

Yes this has been an awful year for natural disasters between, flooding, hurricanes, wild fires...it is awful for many many people.
I still know people here who are still repairing their home from last years flooding here.:(

It just started raining as I was writing the last post.


I hate hearing the rain on the windows.

It looks like it could rain for a few days.

I looked at next week's forecast and it's supposed to rain all week. I'm glad that we are across the street from the lake, not abutting it.

We continue to have temps in the lower 90's but the humidity is way down so it doesn't feel so hot!

It's October for crying out loud!!!!!

Yesterday morning when I went out to smoke my first cigarette of the day it was 38 degrees!!! It got up to 59. We will have warmer weather in the low 70s for a couple of days tho.
