Maybe eating the treats once in a while is okay. It seems something
is working with you. Just keep up what you are doing.

Its more important that your losing than that your eating the sweets.
I have a feeling you are taking care of the laps in eating them, by
knowing you did and watching how many.

I'd keep a log on when and how much your eating. If you'd been doing
it for say the last year. I think you'd notice a big difference.

i can't keep logs-too much pressure-i have cut out the creamer now and just drink black coffee.that is helping me i am sure

We celebrated valentines day early and went out to eat at a place called Marcellos wine and cafe. You feel like you are seated in a wine cellar, very nice and cozy.
We were a bit early and did not have to wait that long to be seated.
Our servers name was christine, she was very friendly and talkative and steered us in the right direction food wise.I saw this wonderful looking fish being served as we were seated and asked her about it and she said it is the red fish and I will run to the back and see if they have any left.
We knew that we wanted the mussels sauteed in this fabulous tomato garlic sauce. Used the bread to sop up that glorious broth. Artichoke hearts on a bed of arugula. My red fish had a lovely mushroom caper butter sauce and fresh asparagus on it that was wonderful. Jeff had a seafood pasta dish that he loved and brought home half of it for tomorrow.
Our food was delicious.

So one beer and 2 slices of garlic bread won't bust my low carb diet. Everything else was low carb.

I'm glad you're still losing weight
I'm sure losing the creamer is helping you. I started losing weight fast when I switched from 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar to skim milk and stevia.

Bizi,
Slow weight loss is supposed to be healthier.
I'm glad that you enjoyed your Valentine's dinner! Diet rules don't apply to romantic dinners out with your husband
Good job getting your work done. I know you still have charting to do, but you will get to it when there's another dreary day that has you stuck inside the house.
I'm so glad that you're still not having trouble with hot flashes!
What you should/shouldn't be taking for vitamins can get confusing. I know that your doctor drew labs to test your levels a little while back... I wish he gave you more guidance back then.


I was on phase 1 of South Beach for long enough, so I've been adding a little bread and pasta in here and there, and I had an apple the other day. I bought a bag of Dove chocolate hearts so I can have a piece to satisfy my chocolate cravings when they happen instead of eating something worse. I got on the scale this morning and weighed 147.8lb!

My occasional piece of chocolate has gotten a little out of control. Why, oh, why do they have to put the leftover Valentine's Day candy on clearance? lol
If I don't stop, I'm sure I'll be giving back some of the weight I've lost soon, if I haven't already.
