Ive been relaxing and elevating since Wednesday when I got back.

I have an mammogram tomorrow that I postphoned once. Because
of this. I will go thanks to my oldest driving me. But they are able
to do it with me sitting in a wheelchair. Only reason I scheduled
this week.

I then have all week on relaxing, except Thursday when I go to the
breast doctor. Which has to be also. Hoping after this week it will
be good. We will see.

No I wasn't told to ice at all. But ice doesn't help its way to cold
on it right now. This is first time I've ever had this problem.
But I've used heat a couple times when its really bad.

I use alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen.

Okay life can stop this roller coaster and let me off. I'm really over all
this. I'm so frustrated and have another time of waiting.

Mammogram today shows more calcifications and some might be suspicious.
Since I've had this they now know its necessary to make a plan.
I can't just ignore it wish I could at times.

So now its waiting till Thursday to see what we will do.. Biopsy and maybe
surgery or if they will just go straight to surgery.

Do you have a preference as far as treatment?

Personally with the last biopsy not working, because it was to deep.
I'm worried about that. I don't like the uncertainity either way. But
to then have to wait even longer. And then also know I might have
to have more surgery too is harder for me.

I'm thinking we still wont be talking mastectomy but not sure of course.
So I personally think maybe the surgeon just getting the calcifications
would be better. But will be decided on THursday.

I'm still leaning toward both breast mastectomy if necessary. I just can't
see having to continue worrying about whether it will return in other
breast.

Its just my life. And its not making my job easy right now. I don't think
I told you, that my area was changed. I lost my biggest and best county
for getting work. Gained a really bad county which is okay. I've tried telling
the higher ups all along I would be willing to help in this county.

So now its mine. But I lost the county that I did all my fairs I still had in.
So its really making it hard to take that. Besides the fact I think the
girl taking it on, wont do the job as much. And I'm still getting calls.

I've decided to just work through the spring even though we changed areas yesterday. And to hope by fall its straightened out some. I will plan some
workshops in my other counties.

When we went to Muncie last week. Derrick and his friend Chris my friend Shannon's son showed they both are interested in the Erskine Training centers program. He is so interested he told his case manager about it and wanting
to go. So we will need to have his Vocational Rehabilation case reopened I believe so we can get the funding.

But he originally thought he wanted to go for server, not realizing what that was. He talked to someone that is from our County originally that does something with the Program. And she explained that she didn't think it would
be a good fit for him. And told him either prep cook or front desk staff was what she thinks would be good for him. Technically same thing my friend and I think. So he is gearing towards that instead. I am so glad that he talked to her. And she explained it to him. Its really close to Ball State University and they spend a lot of time the kids on the campus. And I believe we would work with the program over there to get his waiver services. More worried about meds every month. But guessing the nurse over there would help with that.

I know he can handle this. But it would be hard for me not to just go visit.
And we would just keep paying for his apartment. Not sure how we would
deal with his dog Dobey yet. He wouldn't be able to go I don't think.

He is hoping the two of them can go together. Its honestly the only way I see for a roommate after what happened last time.

I forgot to ask... did the Seroquel work out for Derrick?

I'm glad that he was able to speak to that woman from the training program and she gave him some good guidance, so he is going to pursue training in something that you and your friend think would be a better for for him, too.

I'm sorry that you are having to deal with changes at work with everything else that is going on in your life right now. It sounds like although you are disappointed with the changes, you have a good attitude about situation which is no surprise
