I hope that the plan you discussed with your pdoc works out.

I take A LOT of Seroquel. I have some side effects, but none of them are significant enough for me to even consider discontinuing it.

I slept last night with the 50mg of seroquel!!!!!
I met with my pdoc yesterday:
She said restoril is a sedative and she was not going to prescribe any sedatives to me. She wants me off klonipin because I drink.
She was a bit put off by my telling her what to do...she said I needed to trust her and that she was the doctor. She told me that nurses were the worst people who try to tell her what to do. So it isn't just me!
We discussed my moods and behavior and she doesn't think I have been hypomanic. She just thinks that my addictions are in force, increased drinking and internet usage. Urged me to come up with a plan with my tdoc Robin. She wants me to go to AA and get a sponsor, I won't be doing that. Been to one meeting and that was enough. I also don't want to give up drinking.
She said that I should spend my energy trying to get a handle on my addictions, that they were more harmful to me than the risk of seroquel.
I agreed to take the 50mg of seroquel at night and will start the taper off of klonipin this friday night. 3/4 of .5mg is what she wants me to taper for a month until I see her again.

I have taken care of hundreds of patients in the hospitals I worked at, and nurses ARE the worst patients!!! You are definitely not alone

You do have to be able to trust your pdoc

I'm glad that you will be working with your tdoc, Robin, on your addictive behaviors. AA isn't for everyone, but you need a more aggressive plan to try to reign in your drinking if you don't want to stop. It will be hard.

I'm glad that your pdoc is having your taper the Klonopin. It's necessary, even with a small dose.

my .5mg of klonipin is round like a boll and difficult to split. So I asked for .25mg pills would be easier for me to cut in halves etc.I will taper off of the klonipin in 4 months at least this way.
I slept 7.75 hours last night only woke up once hot, hope it wasn't a hot flash thought I was done with all of that.
I did my morning exercises have to leave early this morning to go out of town hopefully she will still be there I don't really want to call this early to see if she is still there, will call her daughter around 8am. most people are up by then right?

Yoga last night was awful!
I could barely hold the poses!!!!
We were laying on our backs almost the entire time. My back was killing me.
The whole hour was focusing on our hips....I had to alter my poses to accommodate my hip. I felt so out of shape as I looked around the room at every one else so fit and flexible.
sigh
time, I need to be patient. I guess I should be happy with being able to do the poses at all ...I would not have been able to do any of them 6 weeks ago when I started exercising at home.
I should be pleased with my self.

I stayed out late talking with a girl friend, she is having marital problems...our husbands are in colorado vacationing for 4 nights he gets back on sunday evening, but her husband is staying out there by himself another week. Said he needed to figure things out(if he wanted to work on the marriage.) They have been married some 25-years.
Their only daughter is in Italy for the next 6 weeks for college credit.

I listened to music this morning while exercising, made the time go by more quickly.

Have to get ready for work.

I feel badly for your friend. 25 years is a long time. I hope that things work out for the best. You are a good friend to have taken the time to lend her your ear.

The yoga will take time. I'm sorry that it was so hard on your back and hip

It stinks that that pill is roundish and hard to split. I have a hard time cutting some of my pills. My 400mg Seroquel pills are really hard to cut evenly, they are HUGE and keep killing pill cutters.

Im kind of in a real bad panic today from a phone call I got early this morning. My counselors receptionist called me telling me my 2pm appointment today was cancelled because my insurance would only cover 2 visits per week
Not to mention I got really bad when I was leaving my home to go to pizza hut to pick up an order I had placed. Now Im still having hyperventilating issues but Im not actually hyperventilating. Ive called all the Psychiatrists on the list I was given by my insurance. The earliest date I got was near the end of august My counselor is an awesome guy but he cant prescribe meds. The music guide disc he burned for me worked too good for me. Cat Napping as it was labeled taught me how to relax parts of my body and let them go limp. My upper legs and shoulders/neck were so limp that the muscles there were twitching at the slightest chance :|

I am sorry geth that you have a bad panic today. That sounds awful.
I hope you are able to get into see the doctor sooner.
Ask to be put on the cancellation list.

I looked at and called up the list I was given for actual PDocs in network with my insurance. The earliest I could get was in late Aug

call them back and ask to be put on a cancellation/waiting list. they may be able to get you in quicker. But you have to call them about it, you can't assume that they will do this, call.
