call them back and ask to be put on a cancellation/waiting list. they may be able to get you in quicker. But you have to call them about it, you can't assume that they will do this, call.

I know how brutal anxiety can be
I'm so sorry that you are suffering to this degree right now

Please try calling your councilor's office and ask him/her to try to get you in to see a pdoc earlier because you need to see someone WAY before August, and he/she knows that, and hopefully has some pull with a pdoc in the area. Sometimes exceptions can be made. It is definitely worth asking. I would be a pain in the *** about it.

Try to do what you can to distract yourself before your anxiety can get to 10. I know that it is hard

Sometimes when I'm having major issues with my anxiety and it keeps flaring up, I will hum to myself. It works best to prevent an attack as a distraction, but works to calm during an event, too.
