looks like ill be discharged tomorrow. i can walk much farther but still my speed is a bit slow. getting used to the sutures and the tape covering it.

thanks. so far no pain from walking only when straight up from a slouched position in bed or sitting down. that maybe due to how the medical tape is covering the gauze over the sutures. Forgot to ask the urologist if he used dissolving stitches

Had a strong urge to drink last night (screamed in my head " I want a drink") as I was overwhelmed with paper work.
Usually I drink when I do paperwork. I resisted though!
sigh
Was able to finish making a deposit, jeff dropped it off at the bank for me.
I decided to try to take a bath, I was really tired/achey ...discovered that I was not a bath person, had used some epsom salts. The water was hot enough but the tub was too small.
I will stick with my infrequent showers. Which I love when I finally get in there!
Woke up early this morning due to a coughing spell left over from my cold.
I guess I should take something before leaving. I don't have to leave the house for an hour or so...should have gone back to bed but I woke jeff up coughing and did not want to bother him in case I would start coughing again.
So I am starting my 2nd cup of coffee.

I'm glad that you are going to get discharged and get to go home. You should start to recover better there where you are happier and more comfortable

I know those cravings can be very strong

I'm sorry you are still dealing with that awful cough
If you are only dealing with the cough, the best medicine is Delsym. It works very well for 12 hours and even has a pleasant taste.

I forgot to take mucinex this morning, I am still coughing up stuff occasionally.
is delsym an expectorant or just a cough syrup?
