This is why I could never be a doctor/RN in the OR. Id get squeamish really easy.

I have run into a problem this time with my meds.
We are leaving and all 5 of my RX meds will run out before we return from vacation 2 weeks from wednesday.
So I called the pharmacist and asked for her assistance. She called the insurance company and got approval for the early refills except for the clonapin. She will have to get the ok from my pdoc on Monday.
The others will get refilled by 9am on wednesday....we leave at 10am, So I will be filling my pill box carefully before we leave.
We are driving to Indiana to see our families over christmas and new years.
I usually have enough of a stock pile to prevent this from happening but we have had so many changes this last 6 months I don't have that luxury any more.
With this early fill I should have enough from now on to avoid any future early fills.
IT IS complicated! How do elderly people keep up with this????

Here in the Philippines when a doc hands out an Rx for say.......atorvastatin 40mg 1x/day. Said patient can take the script to the local pharmacy and the person at the counter will take it and ask that person (how many days) 60? theyll hand you 60 days worth. Thats what I did with my lipitor meds I got from the urologist though I did find out something weird. aspirin is by Rx here :O

I was drinking every night while taking lots of psych meds, including klonipin and my pdoc knew that. I would lie to her. I think I am finally on the right medication regime and have control of my drinking, right now.
We leave on wednesday for our 2 week vacation that is normally a drink fest.
How will I make it?

edited to add that I went to the bathroom and now I weigh 177.7 so lost another pound!

19 days AF is something you should be extremely proud of!!!

I'm glad that you have gotten your med situation straightened out, and hope that you are able to get the Klonopin that you need Monday.
It's very difficult for people who are low functioning to figure things like that out. Hopefully they have the where with all to ask their pharmacists (or a case manager, etc if they have those resources) for help so they can get their needs met and they don't go without their meds.

I know that the holidays will be stressful for you, and I know that the urge to drink will present a big challenge for you, but all you can do is be kind to yourself and do the best that you can

Same here LOL Had one lady who crapped herself. Cleaned her up put new diapers underneath her and she crapped them too before I could fasten it haha

177.1 down 8+1/2 pounds in 3 weeks.

unfortunately my rosacea has flarred up, pimples in a small area, I can't seem to let them be. so my face is red and swollen. will wear make up to conceal the redness. Jeff said why the out break?
I said I was stressed, he did not understand why???

My 10am canceled so am sipping a 2nd cup of coffee still in my jammies, hubby wants to go to breakfast so better get dressed.
I see 3 clients this afternoon.
Have several cards to send still, need to do some billing, the last for the year.
I was invited to go to a friends for dinner tonight, jeff is going to his friends for a guys cook out.
It is rainy today...and warmer I think.
