Thinking of you, Kay.

When the doctor did the injection, I felt pain in my neck, but not in the other areas I've been having pain, and it didn't numb anything (like it should have). So, I guess he missed the mark. It happens, but it means I won't see any relief from this injection either.

He said he will give me another shot on the right side of my neck, but I couldn't get a follow up appointment with him until October 20th. I can't imagine going another month in pain like this, so I feel helpless/hopeless, but there's nothing I can do about it. His waiting room is always filled with other patients who are in pain, just like me.

I was more agitated yesterday and had a hard time sitting still. I was worried that it might be the Rexulti causing it, but I still took it last night and that problem is better vs. worse this morning, so I guess it was probably related to the episode I'm having.

I had a nice conversation with a lady in the waiting area before I got my shot and went into the procedure room laughing, but I was only in the "recovery room" for about 10-15 minutes before I told another patient to **** off and walked out. I'm sure they thought I was nuts. Oh well.

Oh f*** kay.
I am really sorry/sad for you that the injection did not go well.:(
Another month does seem like a long time when you are in this much pain.
I wish that it were sooner. Any chance to get put on a call/ waiting list????
Thinking of you today.

I feel a little more "present" today. My pdoc said the Rexulti works quickly. I have only had (3) 0.5mg doses, but maybe it is already starting to help. IDK. But I still have a long way to go. I go up to 1mg tonight.

The cats have destroyed the blinds in the bedroom, so there is a big hole in them now. I went out yesterday to buy curtains and a rod. I was READY to spend good money, but happened to find acceptable ones on clearance at BBB. I have to go back today to buy another package before they sell out, and I still have to find a curtain rod I like somewhere else…
I will look online to see what's out there, so I'm not running around wasting my energy.

I will go grocery shopping, too.
I guess the plan for the day is to keep myself busy. I am not comfortable sitting around.

Hi, Kay,

I hope that the Rexulti helps you. Sorry that you are struggling.

I raised the dose of Rexulti to 1mg last night, and am definitely feeling better this morning than when I started taking it Monday night :)
I was so ****ing miserable... I can't believe how fast it has started working. It has more work to do, but I am in a much better place now :)

Yesterday I finished my clearance curtain shopping and was able to get 4 panels at $9 each at BBB, and a drapery rod (including hardware) for $12 at Target. I'm going to remind Corey to bring in his drill when he gets home from work today... I want those curtains up this weekend.

Macy's was having a sale, and since I need clothes, I stopped by. I only found one shirt. I'm picky and should probably go to the outlets, but I don't have the time and/or energy...
I finally called and made an appointment to get my Tysabri (MS med) infusion because I couldn't keep putting it off any longer. I have so many medical appointments scheduled it's ****ing ridiculous!!!
I have 2 a week- every week- coming up, plus blood work on Monday and a bladder ultrasound on the 6th. That's in addition to my regular duties like grocery shopping, laundry, and cleaning. It all adds up.

I have to do laundry today... very excited about that.
At least I got the grocery shopping over with yesterday.

I am so glad you are feeling better. How much better? How is the depression?
