I got a really cute feeding mat and cute deep water bowl after Rocky started digging in the water and getting it everywhere, and the kitty buffet is right up against that bare wall, so I think the clock will be perfect

I LOVE buying pocketbooks and switching them out!!! And I always get a lot of compliments now matter what I carry. This is the first one not in leather I have bought in about 10 years, and the first one in black, except for an evening bag that I have not had occasion to use in a very long time. I have returned a few when I have gotten home and decided I didn't like them. I actually took one I loved to a cobbler to modify the shape slightly to my liking.
I carried the new purse yesterday, and I can't believe how much lighter it was!

When I had what seemed to be a battery issue with this phone quite a while ago, I took it to the "Genius Bar," and was told that it wasn't a battery problem, it was a storage issue, and my iPhone had a software problem (not covered by my insurance through the plan we have through AT&T). He told me to back up my phone in the Cloud and restore it to factory settings. It fixed the problem until I downloaded another update later, and then I had to do it again.

On one of the recent updates, I lost all my wedding photos, and probably a lot more. This last update was supposed to recover lost photos, but it didn't for me My Macbook (where those pictures are) is ancient now, and I can't sync it to my phone anymore. I'll have to use a memory stick to get them onto this computer, and the phone, but I'm not bothering until I get a new phone.

I don't need to have the latest tech, or all the bells a whistles the iPhone X will offer... that's Corey's thing. Our phones are paid off, but we paid for them in installments. If we can't do that with the X, he's getting the 8 because there's no ****ing way we're dropping $1K on a ****ing phone!

I had to go to 3 stores yesterday before I found the 6' lightening cords. I bought two at Best Buy and they were WAY OVERPRICED, but they had me over a barrel because Corey wanted/needed them right away, and he wanted the Apple brand. I would have liked to buy them online... I'm cheap.

After (3) 2mg doses of Rexulti, I am feeling MUCH better!!! I feel like I'm evening out, and more like myself.
I keep forgetting to call my doc to tell her I upped the dose tho. That may be a good thing tho because now I have results to report, too.

I've had a couple of days where my neck hasn't been too bad
I think it's because I have been busy doing other things, and haven't felt like doing anything too physical for a while. I pushed it a little too hard vacuuming and sweeping/mopping the laminate floors yesterday, so today isn't one of those days.

I made a cake Tuesday (?)... Devil's food cake with chocolate frosting and vanilla icing in the middle. I've shown some restraint, since 1/2 the cake is still left.

The view of the full moon over the lake this morning was so beautiful! We couldn't see it last night because it was so cloudy. I wish Corey was there this morning to see it with me.

I finally left my pdoc that message. I have exactly 2 weeks worth of samples left, but my next appointment with her isn't for another 3. I wonder if she will give me more samples and keep me on it until then? IDK. I'm doing pretty well right now.

The Pats game didn't start until 8:30 last night. I only watched until half-time because I go to bed early. I was frustrated by the fact that such a shitty defense was getting to Brady so easily, and all the penalties they were drawing. I wasn't about to make an exception and stay up late to watch that crap. I don't care that they won, I am NOT happy with my team this year, and I am certainly NOT alone.

I clipped the kitties' nails this morning. I feel like I ran a marathon because getting Rocky's done is like wrestling a bear. Doing the others' is no big deal, but I HATE doing his. Dottie HAS TO HAVE HERS DONE because when you pat her she gets excited and her paws start going (it is wicked cute), and she can unintentionally scratch at the furniture, and I'm no about to let the other two off the hook. They're all less likely to intentionally scratch the furniture if I cut their nails anyway.

Today is laundry day… YAY!!! I'm going to try use the laundromat Corey and I used to go to (together) when we moved into our first apartment. It's in town, but not exactly around the corner. I'm not going to wait around all day to go, and I hope that it isn't too busy (fingers crossed).

hi kay,
we have one of those felix the cat clocks and it keeps terrible time and stopped working.
My breakfast plans fell thru...Which I am glad as I am still in my pajammas waking up.
I hope you get the laundry done today...I think that is what you have planned...and getting some cigs out of town.
Glad to hear that your mood is better and that you were able to get your curtains ironed(which is a PITA) and hung.
I think that a harness for the cats is a great idea!, for which ever cat may like to go out there with you guys.
I hope you have a good day.

My pdoc wants me to stay on the Rexulti until I see her on the 27th, so I got a call from the office saying there were samples waiting for me at the office. So, I had to go back to my old neighborhood to get them.

I went back to the "better" laundromat (lol) with the broken machines again because it was up the street from her office, but it wasn't busy this time, and less machines were broken. I was out in about 2 hours, as it should be.

I cleaned the bathtub and shower before I left to do the laundry. It's a big job, and it probably wasn't the smartest thing to to because I had an ultrasound at 4. So, I got NO NAP and was exhausted. I did not cook last night. There was no way that was happening.

I forgot to go buy cigarettes, but I really didn't have the time or energy to do it anyway. I'll have to do that today because I'm on my last pack. I'll probably go grocery shopping while I'm out so I can stay in Sunday.

The polish peeled off another nail yesterday. I have an appointment Monday morning. I guess I have 2 choices now: start going every week, or give them one more chance before changing salons. I really like the girls, but I don't want to pay them to do my nails only to end up having to patch them up myself because the work they do doesn't hold up.

I don't know why I'm up at 6am every morning. I really could have used some more sleep this morning...

I usually take a nap every afternoon because of the MS, and have for years now. They were getting really long (3-6 hours), but I can't sleep that long because of pain, so they are only running about 2-3 hrs now.

I have a bit more luck at night because of the 700mg of Seroquel I take. Pain wakes me up, but I can go back to sleep, but it's very unusual for me to sleep past 6:30am.

Yes, I have a lot of pain issues.... Some primary to MS, some secondary to it, and some not related to it at all.
My neurologist referred me to a physiatrist who is supposed to help me manage my pain issues without narcotics. He referred me to a chiropractor, who I am seeing for the first time on Wednesday. He's going to be doing something called "myofascial release" on "trigger points" my neck. I hope it helps, but we'll see what happens.

I did go buy cigarettes and went grocery shopping yesterday. Since I got those errand out of the way, I can stay home today, and am really looking forward to it. I hope I can get a long, early nap in.

I have a manicure scheduled for tomorrow morning...
I had to take ALL the polish from the last one off my nails yesterday (which is a HUGE PITA) because 4 peeled off on me. I'm very disappointed that this has happened 2 weeks in a row.
Removing the gel polish at the salon every 2 weeks is hard enough on nails, so going every week is too much, and my nails aren't in good shape. Even though I don't expect it to last long, I may just get a regular manicure and give my nails a break from the gel process for a while.
