We did go to the furniture store!!!
Corey didn't fight me at all about the mattress. We easily agreed on one with a eurotop. We bought that with the matching boxspring, and the bed frame I wanted. They will be delivering everything on Thursday
Unfortunately, the sheets I have will not fit, so I will have to buy at least one set (to start). I can buy them much more reasonably priced on Amazon, and since I'm a Prime member, they will get here before the mattress.

The size medium jacket arrived yesterday. It fits perfectly and looks really good on. I love it! I'm so glad I didn't settle for the large, no matter how that return works out.

All of our documents have arrived, so I can get started on our taxes today. Even though I have to use software to file our returns, I still have to take my time and review everything repeatedly for errors, so it's a big project for me.

I'm really looking forward to the Super Bowl tonight! Hopefully my afternoon nap is enough to help keep me awake until the end of the game.

I actually asked the mattress salesman which sheets to buy, and he said they should have at least a 15" pocket. So, I bought a set of navy blue 400 thread count sheets with a 16" pocket from Amazon for $40. I already have a set of navy blue sheets (that would NEVER fit this mattress), so I didn't have to worry about buying extra pillow cases.
I'll need to buy a bed skirt to help deter the cats from scratching the box spring, but I'll have to wait until the bed is put together so I can see how long I want/need it.

Corey didn't wake up to his alarm again. I woke him up when I got up at 6. He had a lot to drink, but I didn't think he was really that s- faced, but sometimes it's hard to tell. IDK, There is an outside chance it is his phone because this problem started right after an update. He ended up calling out sick this time. This is not like him. He's never late, and never calls out sick. I try not to nag him cuz he's going do to what he wants to do, but I think we need to talk about how much he's drinking because it's starting to effect his work.

I haven't gone to the BR in about 2 weeks. I'm uncomfortable and don't feel very well, so I'm not eating as much or often as I should because of it. I have to do something about it NOW, so I'm going to take 2 bottles of mag. citrate today. I'm going to have to cancel my pdoc appointment for this afternoon, but I'm stable, and right now I really need to address the BR problem.

Bobby, it could be the sugar substitutes in them that are making you go. Their stuff probably has a lot of fiber in it, too.

The mag.citrate worked, but I'm still FOS because I haven't gone in so long. I'm going to have to do it again. I REALLY don't want to, but I will be home-bound tomorrow because we're getting a snow storm, so I might.

1-2 yrs ago when I had a CAT scan of my abdomen because I had diverticulitis, it showed I have a lot of inflammation in my colon. My gastro wanted me to have a colonoscopy, but I refused. When I just had the CAT scan for my kidneys, it showed the inflammation in my bowels was worse. The radiologist said I probably have inflammatory bowel disease (not IBS). That's probably why I can't go to the BR unless I take extraordinary measures. I should make an appointment with my gastro, but I'm sick of doctors.

I guess Corey left his phone in the bathroom Sunday night so he didn't hear those alarms going off yesterday morning, and he said his regular alarm clock was flashing like we lost power when he woke up (the other clocks were fine). I think he's full of crap about his alarm clock, but I bought him a new one from Bed Bath and Beyond online and will be picking it up at the store today. I didn't need to have a conversation with him about how his drinking is effecting his job because he was already VERY upset with himself.

I planned on doing laundry tomorrow, but because of the snow storm I have to do it today. I'm going to take the quilt from our bed so it will be nice and clean when new mattress arrives Thursday. I don't know how I will manage all that laundry, but I will figure it out.

I will have to leave earlier than usual so I will be home in time to accept deliveries from the post office (sheets) and UPS (cat food). The mail man usually comes around 2pm, and UPS usually comes very late in the day, but you never know...

Corey's back is a little better. He's not on call anymore, so he came home with an 18-pk and I guess the drinking helped
I hope his back keeps getting better without the drinking.
He's supposed to have President's Day off, but he agreed to work, and "immediately regretted it." Thank God it's a non-issue now because the company he was supposed to go to is going to be closed. He could really use the 3 day weekend.

I got my nails done yesterday morning. I was in the mood for something different, and I chose a pretty shade of light pink. Judy, who does my nails, invited me to her baby shower. I should go because I should be mixing it up and meeting new people, but I doubt I will. Of course I will buy a gift tho because she's a doll.

I'm finally going to color my hair today. I don't know how long it's been, but my roots are really bad. I don't like doing it because it hurts my neck and it's messy. I've been holding off on cleaning the tub/shower until after I do it, so it really needs a good cleaning at this point, and I'll do that today.

I've already done our taxes with H & R Block software, but I need to check my work before I file them. I will probably finish them today tho.

I'm going to have to watch the scale because recently I'm losing quite a bit of weight quickly right now even when I haven't been sticking to my diet
