Well, I got my wish and the mag. citrate worked quicker... a lot quicker. It only took 4 hours before I was blessed with over 5 hours of non-stop epic diarrhea, and I'm still going this morning. There's no way any of those markers could still be in me. Nothing could have survived that. It's never been that bad. At least I don't look pregnant anymore.

We bought a sound bar, which is a self-contained home theater (audio) system (built in subwoofer). It was supposed to be delivered today, but I got a delivery update, and it looks like it won't be coming. Corey will be disappointed. I'm not happy because I paid $15 for 2 day shipping. I hope FedEx delivers on Saturdays. I think they do.

I'll go for the x-ray before my neuro appointment this morning.

I'm glad that there will be no more need for x-rays, and no more need to talk about Sitz markers.

hopefully the appointments will allow you a nap this afternoon.
You must be exhausted.

Somehow I still have some of those markers in me :(

OhKay 04-07-2018 06:16 AM

The x-ray tech kept asking me if I was wearing beaded underwear lol.
I told her I swallowed "foreign bodies," and tried to explain the test to her. She asked me to look at the x-ray, and sure enough the markers were there.
I guess there are 11 left... I can't f***ing believe it.

I was given no direction by the NP on duty, but I know what I have to do. The thought of doing it again so soon makes me want to cry. My stomach is still very upset :(

The lady at registration hit me with a list of unpaid bills from the hospital before I had my x-ray. There are a lot. I have tried to work with them, but they won't accept anything less than a ridiculously high monthly payment we can't afford. I have been paying all the "smaller" bills as they come in tho. The lady was very nice. She said I could go to the cashier at the hospital and pay what I could and they wouldn't object. It just wasn't a subject I wanted to think/talk about.

I saw my neuro before I went for the x-ray.My MS has progressed (physically) a bit. I have noticed some changes, so I'm not surprised. I had so many other things to get him caught up on, I forgot to tell him other important things (like the excessive sleeping). I do that too often. I should get back to making lists. I guess it is safe for me to resume my Tysabri (MS med) infusions, so I imagine I'll be going in for one (outpatient) soon.

Terrible day. Today has to be better.

Oh, BTW... The sound bar did arrive yesterday! The FedEx guy came while I was napping, and Corey had it all set up before I woke up. The sound quality is much better, and I can hear dialogue without having to jack up the volume. Corey's very happy with it, and that's what really matters :)

glad about the sound and don't want to ask possible triggering questions.

Kay,
That's great about your sound. I find that so important.

I very much wish you well.

Kay
I'm so sorry it didn't work completely. Can you wait a little while to work on getting rid of the rest. I would if that is possible.

I know its a pain in the what ever.

I never made it to the grocery store on Saturday. I was sooooo tired and felt sick. I just couldn't make myself leave the house. We really didn't need anything, so Corey told me it was fine, and to stop apologizing for not going. But when nothing we had was appealing for him come lunchtime on Sunday, he got pretty rude

I slept most of yesterday away.
I took the mag. citrate in the morning in case it worked quickly again (it didn't). I was really nauseous, so I went back to bed from about 7:30-11am. Then later I couldn't keep my eyes open, and went back to bed from about 2:30-5pm. Then I fell asleep on the couch againlast night sometime around 10.

Yesterday's experience with the mag. citrate was nothing compared to what I had to endure Thursday. Unfortunately, it was not as effective as usual, and I don't know if it worked well enough.

I have things to do and can't be chained to the toilet all the time. I AM going grocery shopping today AND I am going to do the laundry tomorrow... I don't care what the gastro NP has in mind for me.

mymorgy 04-09-2018 06:09 AM

can you skip the laundry> it is obvious that your body is so tired.
love
bobby
