I'm glad they put it on early for you. And you can then take it off early.

I hope all the test are good so they are over.

Thank you ladies

No word on the results of the defecography or echocardiogram. I thought I would be able to access the echo report online, but it appears that I won't be able to. I guess I will just have to wait until someone in my PCP's office sees fit to contact me. God only knows when that will be. It's almost 3pm on a Friday, but I'm still holding out a little hope I'll hear something about something today.

I have been doing everything I normally do with the halter monitor on... smoking just as many cigarettes and drinking just as much coffee. I want the cardiologist who reads the tape to get an accurate picture of what's going on.

I spent about an hour washing up this morning because I can't take a real shower with it on. But I was able to wash everything I needed to, including my hair, without getting the electrodes or monitor wet because I've had enough practice saran wrapping and taping up patients to do the same thing in hospitals. I just added a tight camisole and/or pair of shorts so I had something to clip the monitor onto.

BUT I"M SOOOOOO ITCHY!!!!!
Without warning me, the tech scored my skin before attaching the electrodes (apparently to help them adhere better) and then put CLOTH tape over them. I have VERY sensitive skin, and the skin surrounding them is very red and irritated. I guess it's for a good cause...

I can't wait to get this friggen thing off...
I have had one hell of a week with all this testing and BS, and I'm ready for it to be over with. I need a break. A LONG break.

Kay,

I can see why the whole process is annoying and uncomfortable,
the scoring of the skin, especially.

I hope you hear from the office soon.

Sending you some hugs. Hoping the last few hours aren't to bad.

You just have a little longer. You can do this.

I have about 1/2 hour left with the halter monitor on
I can't wait to take the electrodes and tape off and take a shower!!!
My skin will need some TLC, but at least I can itch it if I want to tho!

I checked the hospital website again yesterday, and it turns out I WILL be able to view the echocardiogram report tomorrow. I'm kinda afraid to read it, but read it I will.

I decided we are skipping laundry this week. I just can't deal with it. The only issue is we have no clean towels, and the ones I have up now have been there for a while. So, I went out to buy a set from Bed, Bath and Beyond. I had three coupons, including one for $10 off. Usually they only let you use one at a time, but I was able to use all of them at once

I tried to take a nap yesterday, but couldn't fall asleep because it was too hot in the bedroom. The AC never makes its way in there, and we're prohibited from putting one in the window. I just bought a really good fan, but it can only do so much. I realized Thursday night before getting into bed that Corey was aiming the fan directly at himself without warning me he was doing it- so I could fix it before I laid down so the fan could hit me, too. I wonder how long he had been doing it before I noticed?

Yesterday Corey was blasting the AC all afternoon into the night. Instead of complaining, I put on a sweatshirt, and asked him a couple of times if we could take a break for a little while, and everything was okay...
Until about 10pm when he turned the AC down by 5 degrees when I was about to leave the room to smoke MJ, which only takes me 5-10min, and it hit a nerve. So we argued and he ended up calling me a b-, which I didn't appreciate since I had sucked it up all day and night and hadn't complained. He basically called me selfish, and said that I would rather be comfortable at his expense and make him sweat. His reaction to the whole thing was totally disproportionate to the situation... and his reasoning- reversed.
He *only* had 11 beers. I went to bed about 10 minutes after him, and he was already snoring very loudly.

I KNOW I'm not the selfish one, but try telling HIM that. I'm not going to perpetuate the argument no matter what mood he wakes up in. The whole thing was stupid, and I have no interest in going around in circles with him again.

I don't really NEED to go grocery shopping today, but I may go just to get out of the house for a while. IDK. I will have to buy TP and milk if I don't make it to the grocery store tho.

I'm sorry if there are typos. For some reason I'm making more of them and not catching them lately...

His mother should write a book on how to raise a very selfish child. I am sorry. Are there laundry services in your neighborhood? the amount he spends on beer would pay for all of it and thensome. Laundry Pricing | Laundry Pickup & Delivery in MetroWest Boston

Bobby
You made me laugh, with the his mother should write a book on raising
a selfish child. And I totally agree on the amount of beer being used
for laundry service. But I think Kay doesn't want to use money that way.

Which is why she is making him help her. Another good reason not
to go this weekend.
