It sounds like he always wants to do the right thing, wants to help others, and never wants to see anyone else hurt in any way. Donna, you raised a good kid :):):)

You wrote a beautiful tribute to your friend, Donna :hug::hug::hug:

The only problem with the way Derrick is. Is he hasn't learned
or been taught if it could be taught. How to keep his anxiety
and worries about what and how others think down.

I know this one very well, I can and do at times have the
same problem. I've learned as time went on how to tell
people how not to get my stress up.

1. Such as I started with my first supervisor after waiting
an whole weekend thinking I was in trouble. I can't
remember what was wrong. But it was nothing. So she
and I came up with a plan. She would leave me a message
that she needed to talk to me. But there was nothing wrong.

2. She as I remember never left me a message when I might
be in trouble. If she couldn't reach me then she kept trying
till she did.

I've grown from my last supervisor. She made it easy to open
up to her when things were wrong. And worked on my anxiety
with me. Its carried over to my new supervisor.

I still have problems when I try to do a workshop or training.
But I'm getting better. This is one area Derrick honestly
needs no help in.
