I'm so sorry to hear about Dan's episode. I hope this doesn't sound mean or upset you, but I hope that they realize he needs to be in a hospital vs. jail, and when he gets there, they get his meds straight and get him the financial assistance he needs. That's something I wouldn't want if I was in his situation, but it's something I know I would need if I was.

There are a lot of different ways to do colonoscopy prep now. I hope they can find a product and procedure that is easier for you to get/keep down. They are having me prep for 5 days before mine because of my constipation issues.

I'm happy that you got the PT referral you wanted. What will you be working on?

I wish they would order an psychiatric stay, but so far nope. I have no clue how to get it through to them to do so. We have tried before. Even he has. But the stupid regular hospital sends him home after he calms down instead of the psychiatric hospital. So I have no clue.

i am going to have my knees and feet worked on. I still can't get up from the floor on my feet from the floor. So I need some help with exercises to do this.
I'm just glad she ordered it.

Have you told the police that you want Dan committed?

In my area, there is an outside agency that works with the hospital to do psych evals and give recommendations for patients in the ER, but you can contact them for help if you need help and are not in the hospital.
Maybe there is an agency in your area that does that kind of work? You could try looking online for psychiatric services in your area (maybe look for crisis agencies) or try contacting the hospital for guidance (maybe social worker/case management department).

I had to cancel my pt appt. today. But will reschedule soon. Just didn't feel good today. The agency he goes for outpatient too is the one that should help with inpatient, but they don't. And the cops out here are technically a joke for putting them in the hospital for help. So far we have gotten no help that way.

MY husband paid an lawyer yesterday to try and help him yesterday. So we will see what happens. I just keep trying to tell the hubby that if he doesn't get help other than outpatient its not helping. So we will see what happens.

My mother is back in the hospital, she went on Friday and was released after fluids, then on Sunday she fell and was admitted for observation. They think she has an uti. So she is still in now. I'll try to get over later this week to see her.

Seems they decided to give me back Tippecanoe County which I'm glad. They found out while I was not in the area. That they have paid advocates working the area. WHich I already knew and had told some in the south Bend office. But guess they hadn't told them all. So they had gotten a big surprise when they started bad mouthing IN*SOURCE. I had made sure my presence stayed in some of the groups they are around.
So we still were known.

I'm glad that you got your county back. When do you expect to return to work? Part-time at first, right?

UTI's can cause a lot of problems for the chronically ill and the elderly. I hope that your mother gets the right antibiotics for the infection, and is feeling better soon :hug:

I returned back to work on Monday, I'm always part-time just 24 hours.
I travel a lot of the time. But that is what I will make sure I make a
bigger change with till I am sure I can do more of that.

My husbands first words out of mouth last night. Lawyer wants 1000
more. And i'll get it from Dan and Kortni later. I tried telling him
that Dan would have to do that. But he wanted to fight. Never really
understood what I was trying to tell him. Kortni usually pays all the
bills. Ugh.

So she has no money left, Dan likes to waste his money.
