Yes, I really now she does. I just wish I had more time to spend with
her. I will have to start trying to get more time.

I will start slowing down so it will be easier. Its something I will get
to do.

I'm looking forward to having an hopefully end to a busy time period
tomorrow. Ive still got a couple cases that are open. But they are
going to be working for a while. And I can handle them at
my own rate. Today's went very well. A kindergarteners mom is
feeling much more relief today. And looking forward to the placement
at the school for next year. It all started with a misplaced statement
from a nurse at the school. Who was given a good talking to and acted
appropriately today. So I know they handled it correctly.

And know mom is really happy because they think her son can someday
get a diploma and she really wasn't sure he could.

By the way I haven't updated because I haven't had an update for
Dan in a while. He is doing well in my opinion with the medicine he
is on. He went to probation yesterday. And to intake today.
My husband took off this morning and went with him, thank goodness
I was worried he wouldn't get up and go on time. But he did.

And has an psychiatrist appt. in a month. And they are trying to get him
in earlier. Which is an miracle for things really with this group. But that
is good. But the really big thing is that they think the psychiatrist that
prescribed before will do it till he gets in and gets a new prescription.
So they will hopefully call soon and see. That takes a big weight off
my mind.

Now to get the insurance problem taken care of.

Donna,

Happy to hear that Dan is getting closer to getting an appt with a pdoc.

He is very much more stable most of the time. He is doing very well
right now. Ive seen him many times very stable during this time.

But I know of one or two times since he has been out of inpatient
that he has been up and down again. But it comes and goes
lots faster.

He went to probation and intake both this week.

I have been inpatient twice, and it has been a rocky road after I was discharged both times. I'm really happy to hear that Dan is doing so well and you think his meds are working out for him.

It's great that you've managed to get him a pdoc and the inpatient one will be willing to write him his scripts until he gets into see him/her.

I'll be crossing my fingers for you so that you make some traction on the insurance front. They sure don't make that s*** easy

Were just crossing our fingers at this point that the inpatient one will write
a refill. If not he probably will get him back in inpatient within a week
of going off meds. We will see.

Is going to be this week trying to find out. He will have to pay out of
pocket I'm sure again this month. But hopefully soon the insurance
will work out. I still haven't figured out how to get ahold of medicare
to try and fix that part.

He really messed it all up.

Donna

Ps. The boys did great today, in rain and all.

Will got 3 3rds, and had a great time.

Derrick got an 2nd I believe in Javelin throw, he threw fantastic.
THey got a 1st in the 4 x 100 meter relay, and they all ran fantastic.
He was booking it. And the new one on the time this year. Showed
he really can run, they all wanted to know were his speed came from.
He also got a 4th in the running long jump. He wasn't happy with it.
But I think his problem was the rain, and his shoes getting wet weren't
the best shoes for the jump.

It's wonderful that the boys did so well at the track meet!
Do you know how the little girl did?

Just a thought... f you can't get the inpatient pdoc to write the scripts, you could try going to urgent care or the ER as a last resort. They can't deny anyone care in the ER regardless of their ability to pay. But you would have to bring the pill bottles so they know when the scripts were written, and maybe they could prescribe enough pills to hold him over until his pdoc appt.

Is Medicaid administered through Medicare? I would try contacting them if you haven't already.
