I can't believe they STILL have Dan in jail. That should tell the police something, and there should be no need for a lawyer. They should send him in for involuntary observation (24-72 hrs depending on the state).

I wish you lived in MA. I could be of some help.

I'm sorry you had to have that argument last night. It's a terrible situation. I hope everything works out... SOON

I can't believe that you are already back to work! You are so strong, Donna!

Sorry, I went to Kokomo my mom is not doing very well. I just
got back today. She has an hematoma on the back of either
her head or neck or both. Not exactly sure which. She definitely
is in lots of pain. She is also delusional or hallucinating part of the
time. She was in good shape with that Saturday, Sunday and Monday
and then back at it Monday. It was not much fun for sure.
She was sure that the monitors were falling, the nurses were bringing
them down, (there were none in her room to bring down), she was taking
her food and getting it off the tray. And then all the sudden at the ER,
I was taking my hair and trying to knock the monitors down or would
knock them down. Ugh.

Donna.

I sure try to. I just have no answers sometimes.

My husband expects me to have them. I just don't about
Dan. He wants to know where Dan is going to live when he
gets out of Jail. Um how would I know. In my opinion its
not my decision. He thinks we can make the decisions.

I don't think so any more, we need some help with him. If he
doesn't get it. We will not have any answers and it will be back
to the drawing board. Just answers, just not my knowing what
to tell him.

no clue,

But on a happier note. I am down to 206 lbs I believe. I'm happy at that.
HOping soon to be down under 200. ANd then more. Its been quite a while
since I've been down under 200.

Life just moves on. I would hope that he gets better and can move back
in with Kortni and Harmony. And her son Owen. He is going to be the biggest part of the problem. Because of the intimidation.

But they both are the problem, and she knows it.
But he loves to yell, and till he can get this under control. I don't think its good for Harmony for him to be there. He rants and raves about things.
And I really don't want him here either. But if thats what it takes, I'll keep the
guns locked in my room, (My husbands) the knives locked in there too) from the kithchen) I don't use sharp knifes anyway. So that isn't hard.
And he will either go with me when I leave or stay with my husband if he is home.

Not sure yet were I can leave him when I'm working, but he will have to help me figure it out. Good weather maybe an park or something.

I can't take him to schools with me. I wouldn't trust him.

I will figure it out. But its life, and if necessary I'll solve it. I just was
not wanting to have to have him back living with us. But its what life
gives sometimes. I wont give an answer till its necessary.

(Guns reason is he isn't allowed around them. But they are his dads. And they wont make him get rid of them.) He has had them for a while.

Congratulations on getting down to 206!

I'm sorry about your mum, Donna. Sometimes people who are immunocompromised, elderly, or chronically ill can exhibit signs of dementia when they are sick, and it may not take much. I've been through it. I'm so sorry that she is having to go through all of this, and that you had to see it. I hope that they can take care of her medical problems quickly and she is back to being herself soon

Unfortunately, it will be Dan's choice where he wants to live when he leaves jail unless a judge makes conditions for his release. You may want to speak to the prosecutor handling his case (there should be one- ask the police). Possibly they could make a psychiatric observation/treatment a condition, or require him to live in a certain place once you've decided where he should go. There are limits as to what they can/will require tho.

I will be thinking of you and your family and sending good thoughts your way

Thanks everyone.

i'm just trying to stay out of it. Letting the lawyer and my husband
deal with it. I still want the psychiatric inpatient to try and straighten
him out. But that takes time I realize.

The lawyer knows thats what I think he needs.

Donna

Yesterday was 37 years for us, wow doesn't seem like that many
years married. Was to tired to go out to eat. Just trying to
get on my feet again takes time.
