So far so good. Picked up new case today. But can't go to the meeting
tomorrow. So working to get her ideas in emails.

Derrick's last day for a while till he gets back is tomorrow. I think he will be bored part of time till his program starts but that is life.

He has a couple things going on , so not sure when he will be coming out here. But that is okay. I like him being busy.

Okay, its been a little bit since I was on this thread it seems.

I am working part of today and tomorrow. To make up for
going to Muncie for Derrick's orientation with him. And then
meeting with the director of both the Muncie and Lafayette offices
of the waiver program in Muncie so Derrick would know who he
is. But Derrick is ready to go to his program in January, just needs
to pack and get a few more things.

Wow, I didn't know how hard getting things together could be.
We have his dog out here with us till he comes back in April
and he will be here after his doctor's and dentist appt. the next
two days. And then back and forth to his apartment till we leave
for his program on the 7th of Jan.

My son Devin had a birthday Monday. And he is doing well.
So is his girlfriend Meluvja and her kids and Will my grandson.

Dan, Kortni, Her son Owen, and granddaughter Harmony are great.
Dan is very much more mellow. And I think the holidays will be good.
But you can't of course predict his thoughts.

I'm good, and so is Dale my husband. I had my doctor's appt. cancelled
on Friday. So I don't go to surgeon until the 5th of January. But my
surgery is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 23rd. Ugh I have a mammogram
on Friday.

It sounds like everyone is doing well... so glad to hear that! :)

I guess it will be hard to get Derrick packed up and make sure he has everything he needs to go to that training program. I hope it isn't to stressful for the two of you :hug::hug::hug:

Thanks ladies.

Nothing like not getting on for a few days. I've been seeming to just relax and rest.

We got lots of snow on Christmas eve. So glad I seem to have had a feeling that my grandkids and Devin and Meluvja, Dan and Kortni's gifts needed
to go to their houses on Saturday. As Derrick said, it really was good
to have it out and taken care of before xmas and the snow.

I honestly planned a day for Christmas with just me and Derrick and
Dale. Not sure why we just had a quiet day. I had planned to watch
Harmony open her presents, or Kortni and Dan. But she has a staph
infection with a really bright rash. Since I can't afford to get that
right before surgery. Which is supposed to be on January 23rd. I
had to stay away. But Kortni sent me pictures of her playing.

So that was good. We celebrate with either side opposite years. My
families is tomorrow, and its not going to be many in my immediate
family. Dan and Kortni wont bring Harmony because of her infection.
And Devin works, and then hopefully Will will be back from Kentucky
by tomorrow evening. He spends Christmas with his mom and grandma every other year. So he went to spend it this year. They all go back to
school on the 3rd of January.

Derrick will be spending New Years eve with his friend. And then he will be leaving for his schooling on Jan. 7th. Working on getting him and his things over there.

Also forgot we have the negative weather today, so its an indoors type of day.

Ugh, I am not liking this weather.

Everyone have a great few days, I'll be around again soon.

Bizi, really got the bad and cold weather. Not sure if she is still in
Indy or up north in South Bend. But we all need to keep her traveling
in our thoughts because the roads have been awful all over here.

Also on Christmas Eve, a family lost 2 children in a house fire and then
later that day or the next, a elderly man died in house fire. Both
in Kokomo. Really been a rough few days for the area.
