My father-in-law is an amputee and a big pot smoker. He lives in Florida, where they recently legalized medical marijuana, and has a qualifying condition, but won't use the program because of something to do with his driver's license if he does...

I will only smoke (and only a ve3ry little) if I am home and not going back out, probably only at night. Some people make the mistake of smoking too much if they are using it for medicinal purposes. It only takes me about two puffs to get relief from my pain and spasms, and that's all I'm after. But it is relaxing. You can get loopy and feel unwell if you smoke too much.
