It finally hit me. My friendship with my neighbors has changed significantly and will never be the same. We are still friends. It just won't be the extended family I have been used to for so long. 11 years with Mike and 3 years with Angie.
They are 2 hours away. I bawled all night last night and am still weepy today. I hate crying. I wish it would just stop and I would be able to adjust right now. I am so impatient with myself. My horoscope keeps telling me to take care of myself. LOL. Guess it's time. I don't really know what to do with my time. I feel lost and so lonely. My husband just held me and let me cry. He patted my head and kept saying that it would be ok. He's so damned sweet. |

It will take time to adjust. It's okay to cry and it's a great release.
It was hard for me to move across country, I cried a lot too. Thank God for email and the telephone, and fun trips to see them, and them to come back and see you. Lots of Hugs, Nikko

You were a wonderful friend to them both. 11 years is along time! No wonder you are sad...and yes it will be different without them. With telephones and computers you can stay in touch. and they are only 2 hours away. I am sorry that you are sad.... If you want to ...tell us more about them.... write as much as you want...or not. whatever you want to do....is fine. ((((HUGS)))) bizi

Let the tears flow, it is normal to feel as you do.
Since they will be only 2 hours away, then weekend trips to see each other will be easy.  Maybe planning something with them to do get together in the near future, would be the best medicine and give you something to look forward to. I hope your sadness subsides soon.
