I picked Jeff up at the airport on thursday night at 11pm. So happy that he is back. Went to whole foods last night.

I just finished our taxes....
UGH! The health savings account got sticky because we over paid into it last year by mistake and had to pay a penalty for it. sigh I started looking into the new tax cuts and how they would apply to us. Yes the standard deduction doubled but they took away the personal exemptions. so it looks like we will get some small refund next year if all goes well, instead of having to pay like this year. So it is good for us. bizi

Hubby did our taxes. He followed the directions on-line.
He said it was the same as last year. I told him it had changes. I suppose the IRS will let us know what they want if there is an issue. |

TAxes: I am thinking about not doing them next year.
Hubby said he would do them next year. But I have a better handle on our taxes and how to do them then he has. Both of us have small businesses. I think if we used like H&R block it would cost us lots of money. Using tax act on line with the audit protection in place it cost $110. We are going to a piano concert this afternoon. I finished billing and have filing to do. The second load of laundry is drying. have a great afternoon! bizi
