As Donna mentioned, you can get a mouth guard for snoring at the dentist, and it's probably cheaper than at the MD's office, but maybe you can buy one at a pharmacy like CVS? I know my sister saved a lot of money by buying one to help with her teeth grinding there... they sell everything there nowadays.

I'm a worried about you switching to wine, and/or hard alcohol (in particular). They go down too quickly, and if you make a habit of drinking them regularly, you could end up with a worse alcohol problem. I know that you are worried about carbs and calories, but there are risks involved. I know that you had to stop drinking wine in the past

When I drink the rum and soda the fizz doesn't allow me to drink it quickly so that is good.
I think last night if I had just had the bottle of wine that would have been fine. Which cost the same as 2 glasses of wine I might add. It was the 2 rum and sodas that put me over the edge.


Yes we are getting excited about going on vacation at the end of the month, 26 days away.


Saw 2 clients out of town this morning then came home and had:
lunch: 1/4 cup of chicken salad at 11;30
then at 1m I met Doris at this nice restaurant called Zeas. She had never been there before. So they gave her a sample of corn grits and then a sample of the ribs which was so nice of the server. I knew how good they were and ordered the thai ribs and corn grits and broccolli . She ordered the shrimp pasta with cream sauce.
the ribs were delicious! My friend Doris treated me to lunch, just for being her friend for listening and trying to help her with her new phone. The manager came around and was so nice, he was very personable. We will definitely be back!!!
I took home half the ribs and had them for dinner tonight. they were so good, every thing was delicious!!!!
Am having a rum and cream soda.
It is really good!
Jeff is at the foot ball game with colleagues of his from the school of music.
The game just started. So he won't be home for a few hours. What to do?
I guess I will search the internet for entertainment.

Just ordered another home food delivery from home chef.
6 meals delivered sept 12th for $30. $5 a meal including shipping.
these are our 3 days meals: pork egg roll in a bowl, italian sausage pesto noddle bowl, chicken enchilada skillet. mostly lower in carbs but they sound really good.
This was a discounted price for first time buyers. We have done this 3 times before: sun basket was the best so far.(organic veggies and sustainable meats and packaging recyclable.)
We like it because all of the ingredients and recipes/instructions are given and we cook together. So that makes it fun.
He and I both work so having meals delivered is great!

I actually signed up for 2 of the meal plans, one delivered on the 12th and one delivered on the 19th.
It was kind of impulsive as I was a bit messed up with drinking all of that rum.
But anyway, need to cancel them in a timely manner so we don't get charged full price and have them come again.

Jeff and I went to the shrimp and petroleum festival in morgan city about an hour and a half away from home. We ate good bbq pork chop and white beans and potato salad. hubby had a crab burger and chicken on a stick which was delicious. We drank hurricanes and a punch drink which was good. watched a small parade, got several cups and some candy and a few beads. So that was fun! Walked under the overpass where all of the arts and craft vendors were selling their goods. Stayed out of the rain. Had boiled shrimp and corn and potatoes which were very good but too much. Gave the rest of the shrimp to some table mates.
Listened to the band play for a bit and headed back to lafayette.
Ate the rest of the chicken salad which was very good. We were invited to a cook out tomorrow. I am seeing a couple of clients tomorrow afternoon.So we will go there after I am finished.

warning drinking behavior disaster last night:





I saw 2 clients in the afternoon, then we went to a friend house for a cook out. Prior to leaving I had 2 rum drinks quickly and jeff said I was drunk before we even got there. I had brought along some rum and a few cream sodas for mixing.
I don't remember much,After getting there because I blacked out. I threw up before we had dinner and after we had dinner.

I do remember throwing up in the living room and bathroom and almost in jeffs car coming home.
Jeff told me that I had called apologizing to paul(don't remember that), I did text him later and got a nice text back.....


I think my drinking plan on the weekends sucks

and need to come up with a different plan.
I need jeff to help me. He said he tried to get me to quit but that did not work out I grabbed the drink out of his hand he told me.


I apologized to jeff and thanked him for helping to clean up the mess.
He was very quiet last night when we got home. I had to drag the sordid details out of him.
This morning is a light morning, had a cancellation one of my clients passed away....
so I have time to type this out.
No hang over this morning, I feel great, guilty.... but great.
Hubby kissed me good bye like normal all is forgotten/forgiven.....

Not sure how to help you figure out a different weekend plan.

But I do know that trivia is kind of important to your weekend.

So maybe that is one thing you need to continue doing.
Just limit the amount of drinking there.

Try taking either Saturday or Sunday off for now.

Then work out how to cut down even more. No clue.
