WOW, finally Corey gets a brownie point for saying something
right. Kay, I'm so glad he told you that. I'm honestly floored he didn't just suggest he just load all the laundry in the car for you to take with you. So see he was finally in the right frame of mind for once Donna :grouphug: |
yes I, too, like what corey said to you.
(((((HUGS))))) I am hoping the antibiotics work quickly for you! bizi |
I really did do nothing yesterday... except for cleaning up cat puke... YUCK!!!
I think that we need to take Buddy to the vet even if he's going to say it's just hairballs. I need some guidance. I can't let the poor thing go on throwing up like this all the time, and I can't keep cleaning it up :( I'm don't plan on doing anything today either, aside from the normal stuff. I still feel like s-. |
I am sorry you feel awful....:(
Sorry about the throw up....we can relate. (((((HUGS)))) bizi |
can you get prescription food for his stomach. that is what my cats are on
|
I think that the hairball treats I have been giving Buddy may be making him sick. I will stop giving them to him, and see if he stops puking. I'm hoping that is the case. I feel bad because I will have nothing to give him when I give Rocky his pill because it's like a treat, and it's so hard to give something to one, and nothing to the other :(
I would like to find him a treat that doesn't make him throw up, if that is what is the cause, but what won't make him sick... IDK. The pill pockets and regular Greenies do. We have to do laundry today. We skipped last week, so we have a lot to do, and the quilt has to be washed, too. It will be a real PITA, especially if the laundromat is crowded. I think I will take the quilt and comforter to the laundromat myself on Tuesday because they both have to be washed now, and it will lighten our load today. |
A long time ago, I remember we used to throw the treats to the cats and they would run after them. sometimes jeff would just throw them their regular cat food and they would still run for them and eat them.
funny how cats are. Good luck with laundry today. love you bizi |
We throw our cats the treats that they like. We also buy a specific
bag a little $1.00 bag of Friskies or 9 lives I think it is at Dollar General of cat food, that we use as treats. Because one of our cats loves treats. And thinks everytime we come into the kitchen she should get some. So we would throw a handful for her. But treats she only seems to like one specific kind. And we also keep can's of wet food specifically for her. Our other kitty doesn't really care unless she is eating it. Then he wants to eat hers. So that is a given. But we give her a can of wet food about once a week, or so. And we give our dogs wet dog food too. Because our little dog who is 21 years old, and can't eat lots of other dog foods, and needs it supplemented at times. So I buy it and put it in for him. They all love treats too. When I buy treats and catnip, I have to put them away as soon as I get home or they will chew right through the packages when I'm not looking lol. When they hear the sound of the treat bags or catnip containers being opened, they come running. They're pretty smart kitties. Dottie wouldn't eat treats, but loved catnip... I really miss her :( I hope that she is safe and happy.
I picked Rocky up and gave him his pills on the kitchen counter yesterday and this morning... no treats for poor Buddy, and no puke, for the first day in a long time, and none so far this morning either :) I bought some Blue Buffalo treats on Amazon because that's the food we give them, and I'll see if those agree with Buddy. The food does. If he starts throwing up again, I guess I will have to give up the idea of giving him treats. I also bought a different kind of hairball paste. They suggest you put it on the kitty's paw so he/she HAS TO lick it off- like it or not. We only give them dry food. Rocky LOVES wet food, but he scarfs it down, then pukes it up, and has foul smelling diarrhea... so yeah... no wet food unless he's REALLY constipated. The wet food also makes me gag/dry heave. Judy had her boobs done a couple of weeks ago, and has had a lot of pretty serious problems since then. I was supposed to get my nails done this morning, but she texted me earlier to let me know that she was too sick to come into work, which is totally understandable given what she's been going through. She's going to text me later to reschedule, but it's already been 3 weeks since I've had my nails done, and I have a really bad chip in the polish on one of them, but I didn't tell her that. I don't know how soon she will be back to work, so I will probably end up having to have someone else do my nails this time :( I can't go to another nail salon tho because I'm still struggling with eczema on my hands and they may refuse to do my nails because of it. I haven't been taking care of it like I should have been. I have to put the clean laundry away today. I will try to fold up the socks and underwear before it's time to do laundry again lol. I hate taking care of the socks. After 2 weeks, there are a million of them, and Corey's socks are always inside out. We will miss doing laundry again this weekend because of Easter unless we go on Saturday, but I'm sure everyone else will be doing the same thing, and the laundromat will be a nightmare. So we probably won't go. I was about to get in the shower when Judy texted me. I decided not to after I heard from her. I should get in there soon tho. I won't want to do anything until I get in there and really wake up. |
Sending hugs so sorry about Judy.
