There is a lot wrong with me. I'm going into Boston because no one locally will do the surgery, and it's something you would want somebody very experienced to do anyway.

The appointment with the surgeon (a woman named Dr. Chen) is a consultation. I'm seeing her to find out 1) if I need surgery (I do) and 2) if she will do it.

My gastro has already told me that he would recommend removing my sigmoid colon because of the sigmoidocele (herniation). I have no idea how she would repair the other two problems: a problem with my rectum, and a thinning of the wall between my V and A.

I don't know whether or not she would agree to repair anything, everything, do it all at once... or agree to do it because there's NO F'ING WAY I'll agree to a stoma/colostomy.

I don't know how soon the surgery would be done if she agrees to do it, how long I would be in the hospital, etc...

So, I have a lot of worries, and a lot of questions. If I have the surgery done, it could improve my quality of life, so this is a very big deal.

I took another nap yesterday. That's definitely an improvement. And I think I'm dealing with the the potential surgery situation pretty well. I'm not agitated, and my anxiety level is back to normal... 1mg of Klonopin in the am is pretty much taking care of it.

I *think* I may still be slightly too high tho. I could probably stay here and be okay at least until I see my pdoc on the 3rd, and right now, I think that's what I'm going to do.

I've been up since 5:30am, but I've been farting around. I have to be at the hospital for 9am for my Tysabri infusion, so I have to get my ***** in the shower...

Oh kay will be thinking of you on friday.

I have no idea if I'm a little too high or not right now
I just know that I'm doing okay, and handling things well, so I'm not worried, which is nice after having to worry about myself for so long.

I am pretty friggen nervous about the appointment with the surgeon today tho. My brother is bringing me, so that will help some.

I had to take mag. citrate Wednesday night, but I fell asleep on the couch before I got around to drinking it tho lol. So, I woke up around midnight and had to force it down. It was because I had decided to smoke before I took it this time to try prevent the usual nausea it causes... and it worked! Maybe I will be less reluctant to take it now knowing that it won't make me feel as sick if I smoke first.

I could have killed Dottie yesterday!!! She missed the box again, and she got pee all over the litter mat, and it leaked below and behind the box, and all over the Pergo floor! So I had to bleach the litter mat, then sweep the floor, and get on my hands and knees to clean the bottom of the huge cat box and the effected floor with vinegar and water. Then I cleaned the whole kitchen floor for good measure. After that, I moved onto the bathroom because the dirty litter mat contaminated the shower, and I had been using the toilet a lot, so it just made sense...

So, I took a real beating. I can't be cleaning like that, but she's going to continue to miss the litter box from time to time because she likes to pee up against the front side of it. I'm going to have to buy a BIG litter mat that will prevent the urine from leaking onto the floor. I will start looking today if I have time.


My brother is picking me up at 12:45pm. today I have to go to the dispensary before he comes to pick me up tho. The MMJ I just bought prevents me from sleeping, and I'm all out of the stuff that doesn't. I don't buy much when I go, and it's taking me more to control my symptoms now, so I have to more often. I don't know when they open, but I want to go early so I don't have to worry about not being ready to go when he comes to pick me up...

So, I'm going to take an early shower now, and get back online when I can
