Probably not. All trees and such are dealt with by the "Association." (Lost the vocabulary for what the thing is called.)



Even if you dig up these banana trees by the roots, they grow back.

The association did helpfully cut back one of the trees that lives right next
to where hubby parks his car. Various parts of the tree come down whenever
we get a storm and the tree was growing taller becoming a threat to the roof.

Now that tree has been cut and trimmed enough to be of no harm -- at least until it grows back in a few years.
