Wow! You did save CRAZY money not needing that crown!!! :)

I hope you and your husband can get everything you need done quickly so that you can relax and enjoy the weekend! :)

Aw Mari...

Sorry to ready you have been so depressed.... I admire you for going to work and the dentist... I know how depression feels like we have a HUGE elephant over all our body and wouldnt let us move.... I mean, poor elephants, depression is a heavy ugly monster

I can't tell whether I took my pills tonight or not.

The pill minder is empty and Saturday is the last day. So maybe I took the pills
for Saturday already and I refill on Sunday.

But I cannot tell by the way I feel.

I need a second strategy because this "plan" has been a source of stress.

Maybe I need to mark off on on a calendar.

bizi 03-23-2019 11:58 PM

A calendar is a good idea.
I surround my meds around brushing my teeth so I brush my teeth twice a day and take meds twice a day.

I am sorry you are unsure about your meds and the pill box. Do you have extra klonipin to take? That would be the only thing that I know you could double up on to help you sleep, and would not harm you.
((((HUGS))))

I'm sorry, Mari
I hate it when I do that!!! Do you usually feel the meds a lot?
I take heavy meds, and have to wait to see IF something kicks in or I'll double dose myself... which I have done accidentally many times.

I started using those little bright colored dot stickers. They worked well for a while, but they were a PITA. I made a med error again the other night. I don't know if I'm ever going to stop doing that :o

Kay,

Yes, with the Klonopin and Gabapentin, I can "feel" whether I have taken
them.

It's possible that I could take a picture on my phone of the pills before
I take them.
Also I could leave an audio-memo on the phone to note that I took the pills and at what time.

Having the audio-memo feature on my phone has helped me in other matters.

EVEN IF I do not listen to the memo, I would have the option to listen to it if
needed.

====================================
I will run out of Klonopin if I do not pick up new Klonopin on Monday.
YES. I AM ANXIOUS ABOUT BEING SO CLOSE.

The pharmacy does not let me pick up early and I do not feel
like dealing w/poc after her secretary gave me SHT about
temporarily losing the klonopin last month.

I do not feel trusted and I do not feel that I can trust the office.

Re the other meds: I could probably reduce them
way back or skip a day if I had to BUT I do not want to do that with
Klonopin.

Both of our ideas are very good, but I like the voice memo idea, especially since you have found it useful in the past, but I would do whatever is easier for you

Some of my scripts are on auto-refill and they get refilled crazy early, but I can only get 2 refilled by the skin of my teeth, and I don't know why. It drives me nuts. I can't imagine how stressful it must be with something like KLONOPIN (((HUGS)))

I wish your pdoc would prescribe extra for 1 month so that you would have a little more on hand, and wouldn't find yourself perpetually stuck in this situation :hug::hug:

I would feel awful having to deal with the office staff if I felt they were somehow suspicious of me. Have you ever talked to your pdoc about them? I wonder if they're just a/h's and they treat everyone that way?

bizi 03-31-2019 08:43 AM

I am very fortunate...I have a mental health team that do not judge me.
However my new GP...that is a different story. I feel embarrassed by the fact that they have chronic alcohol abuse as a diagnosis for everyone there to read. It is there for the whole staff to see. My new gp was pretty business like...I wonder if she was like that because I am a nurse????
I don't know.
Yes the klonipin can be filled only 1 day in advance.
I have a small stock pile and sometimes will run out or close to run out when we go out of town for 2 weeks and will ask her to give authorization to refill meds earlier which she always does. I take just .5 mg. I also have as a back up if I need them, 2mg tabs.I have at least 30 of them. I have oly taken them for when I can't sleep.

Being so close to refill date and running out is very stressful.

My pdoc prescribes me loads of Klonopin just in case I need it, but I don't fill it often.

Don't get me started on how I have been treated by medical people because of my mental health conditions, or various diagnosis that I've been with tagged by them. My favorite was "paranoid disorder" because I declined to have an RN come into the BR to "help me" cath after I'd already been doing it myself for over 5 years!!!:mad::mad:
