Question have you had a seizure before? I am not sure if your at risk
to have one if you haven't had them. But I would suggest going
down to 300 a week or two, then down to 200 a week or two. That is
what Derrick's Neuro's did last time he went off his lamictal.
And its what they did this time when he went back on. Even though
usually they don't go on that fast. But because he had not had a reaction
to the medicine in a rash before he felt 100 mg at a time was okay.
Then he added an 100 mg at night I believe one or two weeks later.

Then when his level was to low they added another 100 mg. But honestly I've never heard of it being to low till this. And it helped his mood a lot.

So I would be worried about going down that fast too.

I think the switch form lamictal to lithium is an easy switch. I think the switch from geodon to vraylar will be difficult....will see.



My addictions just keep getting worse.
my picking is terrible. have 3 fingers out of commission.

My weight is 194 yesterday...sigh


Good news is that I am sleeping better.


From my lab work ...my calcium is elevated again.

In january, When I was taking 1400 mg of calcium it was 10.3 so she told me to take 500mg.
WEll I cut it in half because I have a history of osteopenia.
Then a month on the lower dose had blood work done and it had dropped down to normal.
6 months later, So at 700mg it is back up again.
Wonder why?
I did not take any calcium last night...don't want to have a heart attack!
They faxed the lab results to my primary doc for her to evaluate and treat.
I don't like having any thing out of whack.

Medication changes are keeping me on my toes and so is using a pill box, thank goodness for them!
With a more even mood/stability I hope to be able to address my addictions....I really think my bipolar is out of whack. I have needed a change for some time. So I have that to look forward to.

Hattie is holding her own....don't think the tumor is getting any bigger. Jeff wants to keep her home and not take her to see a specialist. If the tumor grows like it has before and becomes a wound then we will have to do dressing changes and keep the thunder coat on her at all times.

That is great about Hattie, I so hope your medications or change in them will help. Most of the time I think bipolar is so difficult to deal with.

oh yes, I am most definitely bp1...and OCD.
The more I think about my behaviors the more I believe I also have OCD.
I don't think there is any treatment that I can take...anti depressants make me manic.
