I woke up feeling very unwell this morning. It doesn't have anything to do with the GI stuff. It just feel very weak, tired and out of it. I don't have a fever, and I know that I took my meds correctly last night.

I was REALLY craving REAL food last night, and had a piece of pizza (minus the cheese) and a couple of French fries. It's the most I've eaten in two weeks, and I thoroughly enjoyed it I don't know how wise that was, but it went down easier than the mashed potato dish I had the night before, and I've had no pain or other ill effects since. I will not make eating like that a habit tho.
The back up near where the obstruction was seems to be shrinking, so things seem to be moving along, but still need to come OUT tho.
I thought that all the food I ate last night would bulk me up, but I only weighed 135.6lbs this morning.

Money problems are really getting to me. We paid off our phones to get away from AT&T, and I just paid our first Verizon bill, which was almost $300, then I had to contact them twice about the trade-in issues I mentioned before, and hit the roof when I saw an almost $600 estimate for our next bill (which WILL be fixed). At&T won't prorate bills, so I also had to pay that one, too. Then, I got hit with a $540 bill from my Medicare Advantage Plan because the payments were not being withheld from my social security checks as they were supposed to be, and my insurance wouldn't accept any payments from me before now. And yesterday, I got a $300 bill in the mail for the excise tax for our car (it's not due until the 25th tho). And of course, today is the first, so rent was due. This all happened in less than a week and a half, and doesn't count the regular bills I have to pay, or the medical bills from my hospital stay that have yet to start rolling in

I am anxious and agitated, but somewhat subdued today since I'm not feeling well. The increase in Lamictal should help, at least I'm hoping it helps. Being agitated like this is never a good sign of things to come for me.

I ended up buying an HP printer after all. I remember when I had my Epson printer, I had 4 ink cartridges I had to replace (1 black cartridge and a 3 pack of colors), and had a hard time with the print heads getting clogged all the time because we don't use it that often. And most of the Cannon printers take 5 cartridges/tanks. Forget that. I ended up spending less than I intended to, but I purchased the one I did based on reviews from multiple websites. I bought it off of Amazon, and it should arrive tomorrow.

By 1:30 yesterday, I still had not gotten a call from the vet's office that Rocky's meds were ready, so I called and they said that they were just filled. I left immediately, but it took me about an hour round trip to go pick them up. Even though I was exhausted when I got home, I couldn't take a nap.

I have a lot of things I would like to get done today, but I feel like s-. That's nothing new. I never get anything done anymore. One thing at a time I guess.

You have every right to be down right now. You have been under such stress for the past...insert how many months.
I am sorry that you feel awful.
so sorry about the bills....just do what you can and continue being vigilant.
I don't understand about your food restrictions. I thought that all food gets broken down in the stomach before it travels to the small intestines.
Think I should pull out one of my nurses books....
I wish things would let up for you.
I wish you felt better.
love you

Thank you, ladies

I didn't wake up until almost 11am yesterday. I was back in bed by 2:30 and slept until 6pm. I'm not feeling well today either, so we are not going to do laundry. I hate skipping a week, but there's no way I could go today.

Bizi, The digestive process is complex. I'm not going to explain it.
But I'm sure that you have had a heavy meal that just sits in your stomach... it's because your body is having a hard time digesting it. That's why I'm eating easily digestible foods in small portions. It's so that I'll be less likely to experience any pain, and things will be more likely to pass through without causing a solid mass of stool that could cause another impaction or obstruction.

The pizza and French fries I ate were not on my "diet." I basically said F- it, I'm going to eat what I want (that night), but it was back to rice last night because I did not pass much gas or go to the BR at all yesterday. I've been having stomach pain since last night, but I went to the BR this morning, so I'm happy about that.
I weighed 136.4lbs this morning, so that is good. I switched to the Muscle Milk shakes, and they are much more tolerable.

Bobby, I'm not starving, and I don't feel starved, even though I'm having cravings for some foods that I should not be eating. I am eating at least a pint of full-fat ice cream every night, so I'm getting a lot of calories from that. Ice cream is safe because technically it's a liquid.

While I was taking a nap yesterday, I guess the little s- head upstairs road his bike onto our patio, was staring into our apartment, and was going to leave his bike there. Corey saw him, threw the blinds open, and yelled, "Get the F- out of here" through the closed door. I'm sure the kid heard him. Then Corey went outside and yelled up to the father, who threatened to take the bike away from the kid if he didn't stop doing it. When I woke up, he was outside talking to the father in a friendly way tho. I'd like to see the mother try to come down here and pick a fight with Corey... OMG would THAT be funny!!!

The new printer arrives today. I'm going to vacuum the office, and switch where the boxes are because the one without the cover was next to the old printer, and the cat litter dust may have played a role in it dying. Corey will have to move the filing cabinet for me. I hope this printer lives a lot longer than the last one.

Things ARE looking up!!! I've had REAL D for 2 days in a row! So, I think that I've cleared the impaction, and I'm in the clear for now.
I will start eating regular food again, but will be very careful about portion sizes. I will go back to the liquid/soft diet if I start getting pain again, or stop going to the BR. I will continue taking the Mirilax, but will NOT be taking any fiber, which is what precipitated this disaster.

I weighed 136.2lbs this morning. I hope I can gain a couple of pounds.

I still feel crappy. I don't know what it is, but at least I feel better than I did yesterday.

I'm less agitated than I was, but I'm waiting for the increase in the Lamictal to do something because I need some help with my mood. I see my pdoc on Wednesday.
