Thank you for your support ladies
![]() I've been continuing to have some abdominal pain on and off, but I think a lot of it is due to the constipation, and I have upper GI discomfort, but it's alleviated by taking Gaviscon, so I'm not too worried about it right now. I had the best trip to the BR in a week yesterday, but that's not saying much... not much at all, but enough to allow myself to have toast last night. But not more than that. I'm still really afraid of overdoing it. I managed to drink one of those awful Ensure Max Proteins tho. I weighed 136lbs this morning, so maybe it helped. It felt to me like the time went by quickly while we were doing laundry yesterday. It didn't feel that way to Corey tho lol. The place was deserted. We had not been in 2 weeks. I still have to put everything away. I have an appointment with my nephrologist on Thursday, and have to get labs drawn beforehand. I should go do that today, but probably won't get around to doing it until tomorrow. He's still trying to figure out why I have my kidney condition, and this blood work isn't going to be helpful since I'm not really even eating. I should make sure I'm at least well hydrated before I go. Corey's going to the cemetery with his mother today, then they will probably go out to lunch. I'm finally going to do some cleaning and will put those clothes away. I have to take advantage of this free day since I have appointments Tuesday-Thursday this week. This place is a mess right now. |

yes make sure you are hydrated....since you are not getting that many calories you could find yourself to be weaker. Not good.

I AM weaker an more tired right now. That's to be expected tho... less food, lost a lot of weight, it's been hot out...
All the cleaning I got done yesterday was doing the dishes, straightening up the kitchen, doing dusting/polishing, and putting the laundry away (including dealing with the socks and undies). I had hoped to do more, but maybe I will get around to cleaning the bathroom or doing the vacuuming today. IDK. I just don't feel good. My OCD is quiet because my mind is occupied elsewhere I guess. I have an appointment with Judy around noon to get my nails done. I have no idea what color I want to have them painted, but something will jump out at me when I get there. Afterwards, I'll go get my blood drawn. The lab is less than 10 minutes up the street from the nail salon... I know that my electrolytes are going to be way off because even though I've lost a bunch of weight (136lbs on the nose again this morning), I can't get my wedding rings off. I'm obviously retaining water, so at least my sodium will be high. Things are pretty much the same... very, very little in the BR department, but at least something is happening, so I'm not in danger at the moment. I had 1/2 of a banana, applesauce, and Lipton noodle soup yesterday along with my usual ice cream cone and TONS of fluids. I didn't have an Ensure. They are f'ing gross. I think I will go out and buy some Muscle Milk today. The one I tried was much easier to get down, and it was an alternative suggested by one of the nurses in my PCP's office. I'm hoping that one of the nurses from Tufts calls to check in on me again, and Dr. Chen has a suggestion about what I can do to get things moving. I've been waiting for over a week now... on this restrictive diet. I ran into our next door neighbor (the one who made the agreement with the people upstairs about the bike) and asked him if he heard about the altercation I had with the kid's mother. He said he hadn't. When I told him I told the kids to "Cut the s-" he said "Good for you, it's about time somebody said something." But that did make me think he had heard all about it because at that point I hadn't mentioned that I had talked to the parents/yelled at the mother. Anyway, it wasn't him who said the kid couldn't keep his bike down here at night. The mother must have complained to the office about me swearing at her kid, and they must have told her the bike belonged upstairs, and not on our patios... I would have loved to be a fly on the wall during that conversation ![]() |

I wouldn't dare to try and figure out what you can eat. But I am wondering what about something like an smoothie. You know the things like strawberry/banana. No clue if that would work but I love them. I love the ones with chocolate syrup in. Too bad the best ones closed their place here. Donna ![]() |

![]() I should probably stay away from too much fruit right now because I'm only supposed to be eating easily digested foods, but bananas are okay. Maybe if I'm feeling adventurous, I could whip up something with those ![]() Judy always asks me how I'm feeling when I see her, and I fill her in on what's going on, then we just move on. I (usually) don't dwell on things. I had a great time yesterday, and I laughed a lot. I love seeing Judy, and the other girls who work there. I'm also acquainted with a lot of the other customers, many of whom I really like. There are a lot of nurses who go there. My next appointment is on a Thursday, and in the morning, which is when I used to get my nails done, so I will see more familiar faces. I got my nails painted with lilac polish. It's a very pretty color. I really like it ![]() My hair is a f'ing mess!!! I'm getting it cut in colored today, and it REALLY needs it. I think stress really CAN cause grey hairs because I've never had so many white hairs before. I have some streaks of them now!!! I can't wait to get my hair fixed. It's so long, it's hard to put up agin, too. I ended up vacuuming the apartment yesterday, but I skipped the office. I was in no mood to move the cat boxes and litter pail around because they're so heavy. I used a baking soda-based carpet powder, so the whole apartment smelled fresh and clean when I was done. I think I will clean the bathroom when I get home today. In the BR dept. everything is much of the same. I had applesauce, 1/2 of a banana, and 1/2 of a can of Progresso chicken and rice soup yesterday. I kinda f'ed up when I bought ice cream the last time, and bought the worst kind I could- cookies and cream. I shouldn't be eating Oreo cookies, but I ate it, and a lot of it, last night anyway. I weighed 136.6lbs this morning, so I gained a little more than 1/2lb, and I'm happy about that ![]() But my belly is getting pretty full. I really only pass gas or have D in the morning. I will have to palpate my stomach later in the day to see how much things have moved before I decide what/how much I can eat. I know I have not been eating much, but I still may be overdoing it, and it may catch up to me eventually ![]() |
