We have an AC unit in the shed that we got about 15 years ago.
it was a small unit and cost $80.
Now I know things are more expensive there, and you would have to find someone to get it for you as it would be too heavy to carry.
I agree with what donna said.

last night was okay. The fan helped too. I am so anxious about the colonoscopy.
I am totally shot. I am waiting for the antidepressant to work. I think I got chilled in the community room yesterday. I don't even know if I am angry anymore. I have to start praying to God and thank Him for everything even the lack of air conditioning. One of my friends was never nurtured and her husband isn't demonstrative emotionally. She is the one with breast cancer. I told her that she had to start thinking all the time that God was nurturing her.
I feel so isolated but feel so rotten I want to be alone. I am screwing up with my medication. Yesterday Stella asked if I wanted to go out for coffee but I said I felt too rotten. Cecilia didn't call and invite me over. I wouldn't have gone anyways. I didn't take anything last night for the constipation. I will see if coffee does anything.
I am reading another book I like but having a hard time reading. I think Abby threw up. I think Pudge found a place in the apartment on the floor and I think it is cooler there.

Please don't take mag. citrate and the Phillips caps together anymore! Too much magnesium can make you VERY sick! If your colonoscopy prep includes mag. citrate, I would not suggest taking either of those two tonight. You need time without adding any magnesium to your system. Please make sure you drink plenty of water to hydrate yourself, especially since you may already be dehydrated because of the heat

How long has it been since you have had a bowel movement?

What are you supposed to take for the colonoscopy prep? If you are worried that you may not get cleaned out for the procedure, call the GI's office tomorrow, and speak to one of the nurses to explain how severe your constipation is. They may want to make changes to the prep due to that, but IDK cuz the standard prep may clean you out. That stuff is usually pretty rigorous.
You can also ask about increasing your dose of Linzess while you are one the phone. Your GI will probably want to have you try doing that before switching to something else. I would also ask about taking OTC laxatives with it. I don't think you should be doing that.

I'm so sorry about the AC situation. You would have to know the square footage of your apartment and choose an AC based on that... you are right in that you would probably need a big and expensive one to cool a large studio. You should not even have to be be in a position to have to worry about buying one, as the AC is an appliance that is part of the apartment you are leasing from the management company... they have had plenty of time to replace it already. It's total bulls***

The kitties will be okay as long as you make sure that they have plenty of cold water. They will try to find cool places to lay, like you saw Pudge do.

Poor Suri. I'm so glad that you are so supportive of her

I think that you're going to feel better once this colonoscopy is behind you. It's going to be one less thing to worry about (((HUGS)))

i have diarrhea every day as long as i take phillips. I told the doctor who will also be performing it that I can't go unless I take a laxative and do I also need to take something else on top of what he ordered for me. He said no. I start drinking the solution at five and the second half at 9. I can have a light breakfast and liquid but that is it. I really like this doctor. He is so humble.
I think I will wait until it is over with the results before asking him if he needs to add to the dosage for the laxative or give me something else.
I AM JUST SO VERY TIRED bu the antidepressant is working.
Oh I told him what laxatives I take and then asked him for a prescription one.

You aren’t constipated if you are going to the BR every day whether or not it is solid or not, and whether or not you are taking a laxative. I would try taking the Linzess alone for a while to see if you can get some solid stools going. It’s okay if you don’t go for a couple of days while you wait for results

I took iLinesse this morning and I went-almost diarrhea.I was so relieved. My stomach is off so I am just having toast. I didn't understand. I thought if you needed laxatives then you were constipated. Thank you!
just finished petting Pudge for ten minutes. What a dream kitty cat. ordered another bone for Danny. He loves it so much! Robert has done so much for me and won't accept money Still listening to Josh Groban.

Red face

When I hear constipated to me...it means that I have a hard stool that I can not pass and I have to strain to have one.
It sounds like you have diarrhea all of the time. I think kay gave you good advice though.
