Lots of cheese can be constipating.
Fiber is the first-line script for constipation. It bulks up stool and helps it travel more easily through the intestines. It's not a bad idea to take some in conjunction with your regular regiment. They make it in lots of forms, including gummies now. I used to take lactulose, which is a prescription, for constipation many years ago and it worked well. Your GI may prescribe it, but there are also new meds on the market that people with IBS, or similar symptoms, have had good luck with. One is called Linzess, I forget the others. I hope that the mag. citrate works for you this time ![]() ![]() ![]() |
