I wish I could speak to your super... I would give him an earful!

When my AC went out a couple of years ago at another apartment complex, I was f'ing miserable and got tired of waiting for a new one to come. So, I called the office and explained how the heat effects people with MS. I told them I could get a note from my doctor within hours, but that turned out to be unnecessary... SOMEHOW they found a brand-new AC for me a couple of hours later.

That's a great report from the cardiologist!

And I'm happy that you are getting good results from the Linzess! I can appreciate finally seeing formed stool

Bobby

I'm not sure if it would do you any good but try calling adult protection see if because you are supposed to have air conditioning and its been what
one or two weeks. This can be considered some kind of abuse.

Because its a problem for the elderly with the heat. They might be able
to get the people who run your apartment to get it fixed faster.

So sorry about the AC....I think donna has a good idea to call adult protective services, they may be able to do something to light a fire under their ********.

I just called adult protective services and they said they couldn't expedite it.
I have been upstairs for a while. I definitely felt better after a while when I lay down in ac community room that little kids use. when the little kids came I left it. the linesse isn't working. the stomach ache is back. the heat in my apartment is awful. I feel gassy and constipated even though the phillips worked this morning. I am going down to the lobby again. I am afraid to eat anything. the antidepressant is still working. I can't believe it.

it has been a week. I usually take two baths a day to help cool off my stomach.
thanks for the suggestion even though it didn't work. I am also terrified I might have something really wrong with me. After I took the depakote my stomach never seemed to recover.

Hi Bobby. I hope by now they have your air fixed. Maybe a call to 911 with heat exhaustion will be the kick they need to move on this! Sorry, I am less tolerant than you by far.

GasX helps with my bloating. I get it in an anti acid or alone, anything with .simethicone
I have to be very careful with morning food, as my tummy gets really upset and I have esophageal spasms. Very warm water helps loosen up my throats before I try to eat. Saltine crackers, oyster crackers, small glass of milk, banana, apple sauce, egg, toast, grapes, Raisin Bran small bowl with milk. Even just a couple bites and rest then maybe couple more. No meds on an empty stomach. I cheat and drink coffee in morning with milk, but try to get something in my gut first. Cheese, sliced turkey, simple things in morning. I also eat Paleo bars and drink smoothly by Naked, no sugar added.

Take care

i just took a bath to cool off. I think i just have to wait for the ac. I have gasx but it doesn't seem to help. I will try it again. I am so bloated I only have coffee for breakfast. i have to look up paleo bars. I have medicine on an empty stomach. can't wait to take my antidepressant. I am so sorry about your spasms. eeks

the super is so nice. I really hope it bothers him to see me in the lobby and not wearing good clothes. I wonder if people might start complaining. I have told people that I haven't had an ac in a week and I live on a top floor. they have been trying to make this building funny and some apartments sell for over a million. I wonder if I need a stronger dose of linesse. Oh that russian who flirts with me at the cardiologist's office I didn't see but he is still there.

Wow, I sure am not happy that the adult protective services couldn't at least make a call. Wow, that isn't good.

Do you have at least fans till it gets installed? If not I'd ask them
to buy two and get them too you. Because that would at least help.

I will think on this. The other thought I had is sometimes around
here the dept of aging has fans they give the elderly or families
with young children.

after 5 they brought up a fan. He said they only had one. the super said i might get the ac on monday or tuesday, I spent more time in the lobby. I have so much gas. I keep on thinking that something is terribly wrong with me. I am not having anythjng for supper. My stomach hurts too much. I just took phillips capsules and I am making senna tea.
I called dorot to arrange for a companion to go to another dr appt. He said if I don't get the ac by monday or tuesday to call him and he might be able to help.
the antidepressant is still working but I keep on worrying that something is so bad I might need an operation
