Question how long have you been on metformin. If you don't mind my asking?

It's what I'm on for my diabetes which I realize yours is pre-diabetic. But I'm just wondering has it been long.

I don't remember. I have been on it for years. this is the first time I have been on 1000 twice a day. No more bread and sugar and lots of soup. I know the cheating raised my a1c tp about 6..6.

my friend's daughter is coming back from israel in August. She was so delightful even though she was so sad and said and she felt bad about everything. We have a real connection and it happened the other two times I met her. We also talked a lot about God and she said that now her father is more distant. He can't handle emotions. She died at home. He didn't want her to die in the hospital.

Sorry about the no bread and sugar. I'm supposed to be doing this, but not for diabetes (although that's what I need to get tested), but I cheat too much. I really hope I'm still safe...but im scared.

Also sorry about your friend (?) passing. Hopefully you'll have another great visit with the daughter though!

The visit with her daughter sounds lovely.
Does she have siblings she can talk to about her father.

Suri had six children unless it is five. Yohavitz told me that she and suri would discuss his inability to connect emotionally even though she knew he deeply loved her. Only towards the end did Suri tell me. All the kids got along very well. Suri was an exceptional mother. I didn't think to ask if Yohavitz talked to the other children about the father. She is 28 and her sister Hannah is 27 and getting married next week.. Yohavitz went to two matchmakers in New York. She said that is how it is done in her circle. I really wanted to just focus on her and her feelings and the good memories of Suri and her final days. I just asked about her father which made me so sad..He is a genius... Since he wanted her to die at home Yohavitz had to do all the caring of Suri. He did nothing.
My stomach has gotten so much worse since I found out she died. I have so much pain during the night. I just had warm lemon juice and apple vinegar cider. That helped. I wake up now teary eyed. She was the closest person to me on this earth and nobody else came even close..

I'm deeply sorry for your loss, Bobby. It was good that you got to talk with the daughter. I know it was hard to hear about the father, but sounds like Suri knew she was loved. I hope you can grieve properly and feel some peace very soon.
