sleep is hmm okay. I say that because i tried sleeping on my back last night, like i might have to after surgery, and I tossed and turned. most nights, I'm ok though. cold didn't bother me that much, thank God!

Gosh, I don't even know where to start. I'm a week away from surgery. H just did most of the shopping for soups and such that i can eat during recovery. I'm so nervous.
i had therapy last Friday and yesterday. Friday we did a chat over the phone since I was sick. Yesterday I was able to get back in.
I don't know what I'm doing there much. I guess accountability. I'm trying to work up to sweeping every day, just because H is such a stickler about it. It seems like I can never win with the house cleaning though.

Did I mention I'm on buspirone now? yeah it's only been like a week, so I probably won't notice anything for a while. I'm struggling with the time to take it. I mean, i've been pretty regular, but i don't know if i'm doing it right (twice a day)

oh. i feel like I might be losing some of the weight i've gained. not a lot, but maybe a lb. I don't have a scale at home though, so by the time I get to one, I could easily put it back on. hmm Especially with the holiday eating and my period coming.

I'm tired, mentally, emotionally. I dont know what to say. Maybe I'll come back later today and write more.
My folks are out of town to visit my sister for Christmas, so today is practically an ordinary day for me. Gotta figure out what to do.
Oh yesterday i baked cookies after a long time. Was a new gluten free recipe so that was interesting. Sadly, half the batch burnt but it was something to do. Now ive gotta wash all the dishes. Boo!

I managed to find things to do and my day filled up.

I still wanted to go and visit my parents' cats. Maybe today.

I'm getting frustrated and angry that I keep gaining weight. I actually gained instead of lost like I thought. I keep derailing my plan because of my frustration. I feel like if it's not changing, why deny myself. Honestly, I'm still in the belief that I'm not eating too recklessly, that's why the anger and frustration. I wish I didn't have such a special diet sometimes so that regular diet plans would work for me. ugh! sorry I keep on about the same thing, it just bugs me. it scares me for my future!

So tomorrow's the big day (wisdom teeth extraction), but I'm gonna talk about today.
Had my appointment with the general practioner. It was a video chat, but we still went into the office.
I have some skin irritations on my ear and corner of my lip. Could be diet, could be from my mental health meds. I'm asked to go on a paleo diet, but that sheet he gave me is super restrictive considering the dishes i make for my husband. The problem before was that i didn't want to have to cook two separate meals for H and me as I already struggle managing time and my energy/strength. Not to mention, NSAIDS and aspirin are on the list and i obviously need those. I messaged dpctor for clarification. I'm waiting on that.

But what can i eat? I THOUGHT my daily gluten free, sugar free cereal with nuts and soymilk were ok. I wonder if adding raisins offended my skin, cuz i was adding those sometimes and i am not supposed to have them. Trying to think what else. Oh well cookies in the last week, but i had the irritations before. Basically meat and whole foods are good to eat. Processed foods, sugar, gluten and dairy are bad.

Prayers and good thoughts are welcome for tomorrow.
