Okay I had tried to send an email to the supervisor over the person who
does Derrick's program last week. When I got sick. It wouldn't go, because
it didn't like my email. It didn't sound real good. So I let it go.

Last night I started over and got a real good email going, and sent it correctly.
I received a reply she is looking into things. I remembered some more things
tonight I've been wondering about. But don't bother asking the girl who
runs his program because it just gets brushed off. So tonight I sent yet another
email asking about that stuff. Just because it would really help his health
and keep depression away.

thanks Bizi

Lots of the reason I can do this is because I am encouraged and praised by you ladies which I really appreciate.

I'm so glad I sent that email last night. I think when things work out he will
get the cooking classes soon. Its only been I think 2 years since we started
working to get this. Just sent the right person a request. The other two classes
aren't going on right now. I also heard his VOc. reh. goals were changed one is
something I love. His job coach is going to help with exercise and walking or
maybe take him to the YMCA once a week. This will help so much.

Of course I got a email, that was kind of negative from his main person that
says, because of staffing we can't do 3 times a week. No one was asking her
to. I said, I was working to find a way too. I was hoping she would help
maybe 1 or maybe at some point 2 a week. But she came back negative
again. Then said, I know the girl that comes does his grocery shopping I'll see
if maybe they can add this. Well I know he needs to concentrate on the grocery shopping if necessary so if they can't I'm fine with that. So I told her.

Sorry

The cooking class would be one time a week.

I'm hoping he can go to the YMCA and exercise three times a week. I heard
from his job coach that she will try to see if he will go with her 1 time
a week since they are going to concentrate on his health. THey were
going to do walks and things. So that is good.

He has a provider that does his grocery shopping with him, so hopefully
they can get some time in at the YMCA also. Then I am working on getting
him some equipment to start some things at home.

And when my schedule slows down I'll try to make sure i take him once
a week also.

Hi everyone,

I'm still working at what seems like 100 miles an hour even in my own
home. I go from one meeting to another. I can sure do more meetings
this way. But I need them to realize they need to stop just setting them
up and thinking I don't need consulted first. Ugh. I can't even begin
to count the number of cases I've had. I'd say at least two a day for the
last two weeks, sometimes three a day. And then today I had one, and
then a full day Inservice. And tomorrow I just have what is called a Patins
workshop, which I'm doing what if I were there in person I love the most
about my job. I'm the exhibitor person. But I'm doing in online tomorrow.
For about 7 or 8 hours, and sure hoping I can do a couple of the meetings
in between also. I will be good.

Then Friday a parent I've been trying to work with for probably a couple
of months and I have a meeting with the psychologist finally. And then
I have a case conference with a team, for an emergency situation.
Now I'm hoping I don't get another add for another one after that tomorrow.

Its not something that would surprise me though. It seems to be par for course right now. I got another new case this afternoon.

now about Derrick and his issues. I will hopefully get some time with
him next week to straighten this stuff out. He goes to the neuro tomorrow.
Not sure I like the fact that he is telling me he has to cross the highway to get to the ymca. So I'll have to look into that. I honestly don't think he should have
to but we will see. I just need to go look at what is going on. So I will know.

I also need soon to remind him to get his bike out and ride it. He has a good area too ride it close to his house. I got a email from the company that does
his services today. And I guess soon we will do a bi-weekly call. I am okay with
this just waiting till about the first of may so my schedule slows down. But then its okay with me. THey will take him to the doctor. But they want to make the appointments, but I had made one so they can either keep it or cancel it and change it. That part is fine with me. Heehee,

We are just waiting on the rest of the set up of the cooking, its ready except for the starting of it.

Well this morning I should have been the bee then. Instead of
trying to walk, and buzzed around. I fell in the corner of my living
room. And broke the glass out of my mom's shadow box. And I
sure cried over that. But after I picked myself up, and got over it
a while. I hadn't the energy to wait on the hubby to get home tired
and not able to help me pick the glass up.
But figured I'd let Kortni know in case she and Dan bring Harmony
before it got picked up that it was there.
So she calls Dan and within 5 minutes he is here, and is helping me
pick it up. heehee, He will do just about anything she ask.

Well today has gone about the best it could. I was really concerned
I wouldn't be able to accomplish what one of my parents was wanting.

But I got what both my sets of parents wanted today. I'm so happy.
