way to early. lately a lot of times i wake up after 2 hours. occasionally lately i wind up not sleeping. my doctors have tried a lot of different prescriptions but none have worked.

have you tried valerian root? it is over the counter and at most pharmacies?

The klonpin works after 30 minutes so perhaps you could try to take it later.
I take mine at 1130 pm and get up around 8-9 am.

i have tried valerian but that didn't work. i am so used to taking the pills around six that i might forget to take them later. i don't think the klonopin is working any more and i also take 2 mgs in the moring.

Sorry it might not be working any more. You know though if you didn't
take it for a day or two, or went down to 1mg, and tried to see if it was
working it would show it probably is working.

I think I remember benedryl and melatonin didn't either one work for you.
Which is totally to bad. I am not sure what else might work. I know when
I have trouble sleeping. Sometimes I just stay in bed and really just relax.

Its not a help to sleeping but its sure a way to relax for me.

Lots of psychiatric nurses can be very good. If for some reason this one
doesn't listen. Please do me a big favor. Let your person know so
she can find you a new one. Because some times it just that the
one that is assigned doesn't work out for you.

I know for a fact because one was Assigned to Dan, and she wouldn't
listen to him. And made it lots worse for him. So much so he didn't
want to go at all. But we got him straightened out.
And is now doing well.

Another good example, is Derrick has one that he uses and she listens
and he does well with her.

i do take them about 12 hours apart. where did you come up with that. none of my three psychiatrists ever told me that.

i have been chronically constipated for years since i started taking all the pills. two days ago i stopped taking my laxative and i didn't go. i didn't take it last night. this morning i just used a suppository and i went. it made me so very happy.
yesterday my leg pain from the fall was the worse yet. that really scared me, especially since i will be all alone til monday afternoon. it was such an ordeal to make coffee or to go to the computer. today it was a lot better although it is still very hard to walk. my back doesn't hurt as much.
i found out that i am getting another volunteer to talk to. she could come to the apartment but i think at first i would rather talk on the phone.
i am still very sad about dropping zeynep who has been my friend for years. she just gets me too upset. i never told her i spent four months in europe a year after college and later four months in fiji and a few times more in italy and england and going to bermuda, nassau, jamaica, st john's ,puerto rico and st thomas.,israel and eygpt. all i heard about was her travels
