Hi everyone,

Its really been nice here in Lafayette. Derrick ended up picking
up a Tuesday night shift yesterday. So I took him and picked
him up. It looks like he will start working on Tuesday nights.
Maybe instead of doubles. Which is totally fine with me.
He will hopefully start scheduling the bus to take and pick
him up after this week. That will be even better most of the
time.

I am still very busy and looking forward to my last two weeks of
work and then Christmas break. Its coming. I'm looking forward
to a nice break.

It was. We get together as a whole family once a year since my mothers
death. But I go to Kokomo to see my sister's and anyone else that I can a few times a year. But the nieces and nephews aren't usually available.

My son Devin isn't usually available to join us, but he was this year it was so
nice to have him too.

Something has been going on with the little bus that takes Derrick
to work last week and this week. It seems someone has been
dropping the ball and not scheduling his bus.

But I had him call this morning when he didn't get his reminder to
make sure he was scheduled to be picked up. And he wasn't
on the schedule for this week. So he explained to the woman who
answered that he wasn't picked up last week for his scheduled rides,
but that since I was here he just had me take him. It was technically.
Easier with it being the holiday.

This week he was scheduled today and tomorrow one way. And I told
him this morning he had to call because it couldn't just keep happening.
Because I really realized he wasn't wanting to report it. Because he doesn't
like conflict. But once he started he did fine. And he has a ride tomorrow.
I am his ride today, it was to late to get it scheduled today.

And she double checked and he has rides next week. So it should come through with reminders. As it was before.

So it should return to normal.

Since I can work on my couch or in this case Derrick's couch thanks
to Covid. It makes the energy less necessary. It makes my keeping
my data in my database a little harder because I don't always get
it all entered. Because I don't like over entering. And sometimes
it seems like I talked to same parent 10 times in a day.

But I really enjoy what I do, so it makes it easier to do it.

I took the week of Thanksgiving off because I felt I needed it and
now in two weeks we get two weeks off. We always get that its so
nice.

The whole of IN*SOURCE gets about two weeks for christmas vacation.
So it makes in so nice. And I am really happy with the outcome
of my meeting this morning. It went well for my parent and child.

Also Derrick is ready to go to work tonight. And I have WIll tomorrow.
It should be interesting. Derrick will be working, but I have to
pick him up tomorrow so we might eat dinner there at O'Charleys.
