Default Bad Day!

Well today because my anxiety is feeding my BP I am home from work today. I feel sick. My head is all messed up. I am not even sure what med to take to calm me down.
Does anyone else have days like this?

Yeah bad days hit everyone I think, hard. It's really no fun to feel like you don't know if you're coming or going, but sometimes that's what we're left feeling. I'm sorry you're having such a bad day, I know not much will help, but I wanted to post and offer a hug. Hang in there, it will get better soon. I know anxiety is a tough thing to live with.

Wendy - YES we all have those days. Do you have a med for anxiety you could take, and then try and get some rest.

I hope you aren't getting some type of bug.

Hope you feel better real soon.

Hugs, Nikko

Hi wendy,
I am sorry taht you are having a bad day.
I think your body may be telling you to slow down a bit.
WEre you able to really rest this weekend?
perhaps some anti anxiety med will help you, or some other modality: warm bath, lavender, soothing music, yoga, deep breathing, walk around the block.
Are you having racing thoughts?
You may need to call your pdoc....
I am hoping you feel better as the day moves along.
((((HUGS))))

Thanks everyone. I thought about calling my therapist, but she wouldn't have been any good to me I realized.
So I took my dalmane, buspar and depakote and see which would help. Luckily they all did and I got to calm down enough to take a nap late in the morning. I have been very tired the rest of the day and was happy I took the day off.

Well its the next day and I am still a mess. I got some rest but today I woke up like I dd yesterday. Today I decided to go through the motions and get ready for work anyway. Well, I took a shower, put on my make up, did my hair and got dressed. That is as far as I got. I just couldn't go any further. I started to tear up and cry. I woke up Todd and said I don't think I can do it today. So I called in again and apologized via voice mail profusely and over and over again. Then I called my therapist. I hope she can fit me in today I really need to talk.
What is going on with me? Am I fit to be working? I am really questioning it right now. Is this just temporary? I am so confused. I feel so helpless.
HELP! I really need your guidance everyone.

It's okay. You did the right thing by calling your therapist. When will you know if you can get into see him/her?

I wish I knew what to tell you, but many things could be causing you to feel this way.

Hang in there, if you don't get a call back from your therapist, call again as soon as you know they are open.

Take it easy for now, as much as you can.

Thinking of you. Lots of Hugs, Nikko

Oh Wendy, it sounds like you need something medwise to help you get back on an even keel, I don't have any suggestions though because I myself am in need to seeing my T and talking about something new for the mood swings I've been having since we dropped the wellbutrin and halved my elavil. I wish I could offer more then cyberhugs, but you really need to get in to see your T. That will help more then anything. Good luck getting in to see them NOW instead of later. Something is going on and you need her help.

What is happening? Do you feel like you can't handle being around people? Or is it more that you just can't handle the working end of things? It's up to you to determine where the anxiety is coming from and then to see what will work to help you get better. Identifying the source is key though. What is it for you right now? Just trying to help.
