I'm sorry that I haven't been around. So this is the first I have heard of Doug's passing.
With the amount of pain he was in, it was a blessing. My Mother-in-law, passed the same way. It was not something that I would wish on anyone.
Unfortunately it leaves those behind in pain.
I am sorry for your loss. Please keep in touch with us and let us know how you are doing.

I'm so sorry, Barb. You're right - even tho you know that death is inevitable, it's still a shock when it actually happens.

When you look back on this whole time period, at least you will feel good, knowing that you were such a good friend and comfort to him in his last weeks.

I hope you will at least find comfort in that at this difficult time.

Hugs, Jacquie

Barb, I am sorry for your loss. I know I don't post much but I had followed your posts about Doug's condition with interest and concern. You were very good to him and I'm sure you brought him a lot of comfort. Take care of you.

Keeping you in my prayers, remember you have an angel on your shoulder to guide you and watch over you.

Glad you were with a neighbor today, it helps to talk and not be alone.

Please get rest and eat even if you don't feel like it, you need to keep up your strength.

Take care, go easy.......Hugs, Nikko
