Bobby,

Hubby and I did fine today. He runs hyper and I run depressed. As long as we we not off of our normal ranges, we do fine.
:)

My work friend is on a regular floor now. The hospital will send him to a rehab place soon I think. It will be on month a Thursday since he first went in.
I haven't talked to him again yet.

Maybe I will send him a gift or something. I'm still not in the mood to talk to him.

The boy I grew up with, he lived next door, committed suicide when we became adults.

I was so mad at him. It's been about 10 years now and I am still mad at him.

I didn't go to his funeral. I still haven't talked to his family out of fear of saying something wrong.

I can't blame you for not wanting to speak to him or go see him yet.

You have to protect yourself right now Mary. You are very fragile.

I think you are making good decisions.

Hello,

I went to the hospital to see my work friend.
I'm glad I gave myself three weeks off from worrying about him. Today I feel ok about seeing him.

He's tremendously weak...even whispers when he talks...He can't walk on his own.

Before I left, I saw his boyfriend. The boyfriend said that rehab places he contacted don't want to take G. because they don't have the staff to deal with pysch patients.. . not sure exactly what that means.

Anyway, G. was happy to see me and we joked and stuff and had a good visit.

Well I am so glad that you had a nice visit.
That sounds like discrimination to me.
Where else is he supposed to go?
other ecfs take psych patients,
I guess he may have to go to a nursing home.
The social workers will figure it out.
Please don't worry.

We ran into a similar problem with Wes when it was time for him to leave the hospital. Doc wanted him to go to treatment. But the social workers and I couldn't find anywhere in 4 states that would take psyc patients. Finally found a rehab in town where they were kind enough to take him.

Seems to be very little help for folks who need it the most. I hope that there is a place that can take care of him near home.

Sounds like a good visit. I am glad he is recovering, all be it slowly.
