Thank you everyone. I've been visiting with Doug's brother every day now since he moved in this past Monday. We do talk a lot about Doug. Btw, I have been making good freindships with some of the nice neighbors here. I suppose every neighborhood has good and bad.

I personally think you might just solve the problem with how to spend your holidays. Just by talking to some of your neighbors about how they are going to spend theirs too. Its possible that they have no one to do anything with either.

And would love to put together a dinner plan. Even all go out and have dinner.

It doesn't seem to matter any longer if I'm with anyone over the Holidays or not. I am going to choose to be in a good frame of mind regardless.
