Default Fill Rx Tomorrow

Dear Nikko,

I gather that you have one or two capsules left at this point; that you and your mother both take one capsule a day, and that but for your doctor's dilatoriness there would be no problem in getting a renewal tomorrow.

Whatever you have left, you should divide between your mother and yourself. Cold turkey is a bad idea, even for a few days.

Tomorrow, call your mother's doctor's office, explain the emergency to his nurse or office manager, and tell her the renewal must be called in to the pharmacy immediately. This is one of those times when, "a few days", just won't cut it. (It is his nurse or office manage who will do all the work. All he has to so is say, "OK".)

Cordially,

Unhappy

Highthatsize,

The problem is that she does not have the money to renew her mother's meds until Wednesday.

Her own meds are free and not renewable until Feb 28.

I don't have any good ideas.

Dear Mari,

Thanks. That info wasn't in the thread.

That being the case, I don't have an answer either.
