It's about 90 degrees here today.... at least no storms for the next 24hrs... I hope!?!?!
We've had about 10 tornadoes with in 75 miles of me since last Friday... Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL day where ever you may be...  Abbie

Hi,
When I got in my car today, the steering wheel was too hot to touch. I will need to put something over it like a towel so that I can drive.  -- the store bought steering wheel covers don't work. Temps: just below 90 everyday. Rain: most days Stores: full of hurricane supplies. I pray for a quiet summer. One more time: May the coastal areas be clear of hurricanes this year. Keep the storms out to see where the shipping interests can go around them. M. |

UGH.
Bands of the storm are coming across us already. Public schools are canceled. We have wind, rain, thunder, and flood advisories. It will be worse in the afternoon. But we have a big meeting at work at 9:00 am. Three people called me so far to see if we have to go in -- like the people in change speak to me. I told them the same info that is on the web sites and the email.  Mar |

I hope you don't go. I just spoke with a guy from texas and told him we almost had a tornado on Friday. He said there was a tornado in Houston.

I am worried about this storm, I hate this time of year just because of these things. I hope you stay safe Mari!
It's possible it may miss our area, but who knows?

Bizi,
My parents are coming in less than 2 weeks -- Friday, August 29, They have not told me their arriving flight time yet or even what airline they are flying. I figure if my father wants to be such a control freak, he can get his own darned shuttle to his hotel -- esp since I have not been given hotel info either. Mari |
